Had a pretty relaxing Sunday. Made a sausage casserole for tea and got a few chores around the house done. Also went to the loft tonight and took down the Christmas decorations.This Friday is the big day. I have the yearly budget meeting all day tomorrow with our senior director which I'm not looking forward to, but once it's out of the way I can start to look forward to a few days off at the start of December. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Hope everyone has a good week.

Good evening, Christmas family
I am sitting in front of the fire with Hallmark on. A new movied called Hitched for The Holidays. So far it is kinda good.
We finally got some more decorating done today. I always do the tree myself but I need help with everything else. Yesterday was really frustrating because my other half just doesn't get Christmas sometimes. I know not everyone can be a Christmas nut like me but it is just difficult. Anyway, we got our Nativity scene put in the window today and just have to rehang the garland in the bay
window in my office room.
Clancy, Wish, Hermione, Smokey and Lily are all doing fine. I am a little concerned about Clancy's toe - So far it doesn't seem the antibiotics are doing all that much. If we have to we will take her back to the doctor. Wish seems to be a little more short of breath than usual too. He just seems to be getting so old. I hug him to pieces sometimes and tell him I love him. I guess it is all I can do. I just hope he understands.
For some reason, I am missing my family members who are gone this year more than in past years, especially my mother. There must be something wrong with me....:-?

Meceka - Palmer sounds JUST LIKE Hermione. I know I have said that before. I bet they would be fast friends.
This coming weekend (Lord willing) is my day with my dear sister decorating her tree and shopping and it is also her birthday !!!! I hope it all goes well..xoxo

I fixed paella for dinner and I am exhausted! I think it is time for a glass of wine and some TV. CM3, no, there is nothing wrong with you! I get choked up every time I decorate the tree or put the ornaments away. I have a small tree, so nearly every ornament has a memory or a story attached to it. So decorating the tree is an emotional experience. I'll probably be decorating the tree on Friday ... I'm taking off Friday and next Monday for decorating, wrapping, cards, packages, etc. I'll probably put a little tree in the TV room again this year, too.
Back to work tomorrow ... But I'll be decorating my desk and putting the Rudolph characters in my toy barn. I got a little Christmas tree to put in the barn with them this year, and the Bumble Snow Monster stands on the roof. Tomorrow looks like a busy workday. A big brochure is coming back through tomorrow. But I'll check in at some point. Gotta get some Christmas in my day!
oh jennifer i hope you feel better soon sweety. maybe it won't be too rough going back to college tomorrow, after all just a few more weeks & you'll be out for Christmas! yaay!

it's ok to cry. like i told CM3, there's nothing wrong w/ missing our family. if you think about it, it would be weird not to. try very hard to think of all the times you had w/ them. i bet'cha you'll end up laughing about some of the memories.

I dont post to much thiis past while but i am trying to keep up with the post
Gonna start to day on my chrsitmas outdoor decor as i want to light them up for the 1st dec
Will take all week . have loads of gift items for the shop this week that ii have held back so i wont need that many pallets this week to gve me a chance to get at the decor done
Hope your all good and getting in the christmas spirit anda that all furbabies are doing good ~}

I should be sleeping for two and a half more hours but I had a bad night and my back hurts so I got up. My throat was so sore and scratchy all night that I couldn't fall asleep no matter how exhausted I was. I even took medicine before bed but nothing seems to help. I laid in bed for five hours and slept about fifteen minutes total.
Not the best start to my day but hopefully I won't be too exhausted. I am going to try to make it to class because I don't want to risk missing anything important. I don't think there is anything a doctor could do for me anyway.
I just keep telling myself that hopefully this will pass soon and Christmas is right around the corner!

I took some cough syrup thinking that would help with the tickle/scratchiness in my throat but it did nothing. I took a nasal decongestant and that did very little. And throughout the day I take ibuprofen to help with the throat soreness.

(Not many more left for the year, let alone pre-Christmas!)
And can you believe after today we will have completed 2 full weeks of Christmas Season 2012?

Days to Christmas Day: 29 (UNDER a month, now! Four weeks from tomorrow!!)
Still rather nippy yesterday but also still no rain.
We should be dry again today but precipitation is a possibility tomorrow.
We show 35 degrees here at this hour.
