Hi all...

More bad news on my end, but I'm attempting to keep it off the boards here. It is just so hard and I don't know how long I can keep this up. I even tried listening to Christmas music and I had to turn it off after two songs. I really hope this goes away soon...

Star - Excellent cake!! Definitely think you should've won first though!! =)

Hope all of you that are sick feel better! Hubs and I both have head colds...sneezing, runny noses, congestion, cough...the works! We are hoping to get over them soon...I just caught it yesterday and hubs has had his since Monday!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! Busy, busy, busy here.

Last night, we had a Christmas parade here in my town and tonight, we have one about 1/2 hour away or so. That starts at 7 and then I work tonight. Tomorrow, we have Christmas pictures. Those are at 9. I am hoping I can get a little sleep when coming home - DH works tomorrow night, so I won't get much, but I am hoping for a little!

Christmas is only 25 days away! We are getting so close and it is so exciting! Miss all you guys! God Bless and hope I catch up more soon! :razz:
 
Then I will go back every so often; I am guessing every six months for a while.

Thank you Seawaters. I was actually feeling kind of sad because we usually have our tree up long before we did this year. Mostly because we have been a bit busy, and tired. So I decided to drag the tree out and start setting it up. I guess it inspired Sheila because she decorated the rest of the house, and it looks great!! Not to get mushy, but I was thinking about how 2 people get together and they say they are each other's love of their lives, then a few years later they break up. I can honestly say that I love Sheila more now than when we first got together, and as much as I loved her then, I didn't think that was possible. She truly is the love of my life!

My niece is at Disney World this morning and her cheer leading team is in the Christmas Parade. There are a few celebrities in the parade as well. Her mom has been posting pictures, it looks like she is having a great time there!

Good evening,

Not so busy at work today, I am feeling tired though, I think working overnight on Black Friday has really thrown me off. My wife had to bring LC to the Dr. office for some testing, we will find out what is going on next week after they do some testing. Please keep him and us in your thoughts and prayers, we are hoping it is nothing right now.

I am exhausted today. For some reason, I could not sleep on Wednesday night. Then last night, the wind blew so hard that I was too afraid to fall asleep; but I finally did at 3:53 this morning!!! The fear stemmed from an old tree in our yard that I was afraid would blow down and hit our house! I could not believe that the wind blew at a steady pace the whole night! I even went outside to see which way the wind was blowing so I could gauge which way the tree would fall! What a scaredy cat I am!!! The wind is still blowing now and is supposed to continue through Sunday. That is one of the things I hate about California weather in the winter! Okay, enough whining! Hubby and I went to a retirement lunch at Round Table today. One of his fellow workers at the Forest Service retired after 40 years! It was pleasant as I felt I needed a "break." Just three more radiation treatments!
Scaredy cat will try to get on later. Here's hoping all of you have a great afternoon. I truly pray for those of you under the weather, both physically and emotionally.
 
Let us know when you find out about LC. I can imagine how you feel.

Do I need to come cut down the tree so you can get some sleep? I don't have a chainsaw but I have plenty of black powder.

yeah, me either. i'll tell ya', i think the Mom's are as into it as the girls! it's ridiculous what the girls are willing to pay for dresses, hair, nails, makeup, & flowers!

Almost time for dinner and relaxing. Tomorrow is the annual Christmas Faire which will be held at the Parrish Hall. Lots of local vendors and crafts people will be displaying their Christmas "stuff." They also have homemade soups for sale for lunch. Have a great rest-of-the-evening, everyone. TTYT
