Good evening!
And suddenly it is the first day of December!
How did we get here?

It's a busy month... Something is happeing everyday/evening...
I want to spend every moment with my children/family.

We have been baking Gingerbreads today.
And I made my own gingerbread house, but
I don't think I'll be an architect any time soon..
I have to glue it together tomorrow...and then we will see... LOL

Well, it's homemade pizza here now..
Advent Calendars on TV and just the family being together :-D

Hope everyone is doing GREAT! I'll pop in again later!

LOVE LOVE LOVE ♥

it is strange sometimes when I am just starting my day to hear you talk about ending yours! So wonderful to be able to talk to you!
Enjoy your evening and your pizza

Gorgeous graphic, Shellie! Love it!

I love poinsettias, so this graphic speaks to my heart! And, since you will be reading from your heart at church, I am sure you will do wonderfully!

Happy December 1st!

Wayne and I have already done a lot of Christmas activities before December even arrived. We have a lot more to do! We are looking forward to this month.

My pastor volunteered Wayne and I to go up front tomorrow to read scripture and light a candle for advent. Wayne seems to do well with all that, has read scripture and lead the church in prayer but it makes me nervous to read to everyone but I guess I will do it! I get a little stage fright but I'm sure I will be okay. =)

Lots and lots of Merry things to do today! Wayne goes into work for a few hours this morning then off to have fun!

Have a Merry Day everyone!

we will be home this evening because Elf and It's a Wonderful Life comes on TV. That is Christmas TV at it's best.

I have both of these on DVD but I know I will watch it on TV anyway. Gotta love it knowing that we are all watching it together and enjoying the Christmas commercials at the same time!

one simple question:

Do you believe in Santa Claus?"

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! :???:

Breakfast is my favorite meal, so I wouldn't care if it were egg whites and turkey bacon! It still sounds good!

Good Saturday morninig, my Christmas friends!

I've cooked the sausage, eggs, bacon and coffee. Now it's time for y'all to come on! I'll live vicariously through you while I eat my egg whites and turkey bacon...LOL!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I practiced reading my scripture in front of my 3 year old granddaughter the other day. When I got done she said, "My turn"! She "read" it to me and did wonderful! She is so sweet!!!

It is still windy here in northern California. At least, though, the winds have dropped to 25 mph!!! Ugh! Hurry up, Made! Hubby fixed breakfast this morning: eggs over easy, Jimmy Dean sausage (a combo of hot and regular), toast, and baby Dutch yellow potatoes with onions. Delicioso!!! I will soon be off to the Christmas faire. TTYLTA!

It's December! Whoot! And tomorrow is the first Sunday of Advent! Woohoo!

Well, yesterday evening was so much fun! My daughter and I did go to the Miracle on 34th St screening, and we had a blast. Just imagine--live organ music, a newsreel, a cartoon, coming attractions, door prizes AND Miracle on 34th St all for 5 bucks a person! The only problem was that the film was skipping a little at times, which was distracting. But all in all a wonderful time!

The wonderful thing about gingerbread houses is ... you can eat your mistakes, and no one will ever know!

Wish we could have been there! That's a good show for $5! (We would have been grumbling a little about the print skipping, though---probably a damaged print with poorly made splices or some torn sprocket holes. Mr. could've fixed those!)

Hello! :-) It's Christmas around here ... we're getting an unforecasted inch of snow, my trees are up and waiting to be decorated, I got my first Christmas package and cards this week, I got a new DVD of a Christmas show I first saw over 25 years ago that looks beautiful ... only a few more cards to write and a few gift bags to prepare, and we'll be about set. Haven't made any cookies yet, but I will. And the supermarket finally got some vanilla eggnog!

Because there are no decorations on the trees yet, I stuck a beanbag kitten in the branches of one, and Simon's Cat (stuffed toy) in the other, just to be whimsical. I may put a few lighted candy canes outside to go with the floodlight trained on our front door wreath today.

Good morning, dear Christmas family

It seems like all I can do lately is pop on here for a qucik hello and catch up and then I am gone again !!

Today is my dear sister's birthday and also the day we do her tree !! In just a couple of hours I will be on my way to her house and then hopefully we will be shopping and being the true Christmas sister nitwits we truly are !! When we get together for this outing every year it is usually pretty hilarious ....even though only my sister and I know what we are laughing about. We just turn into little kids and it is so fun.

I hope all have a wonderful Christmassy day and evening and Happy December 1 !!!!!! (((HUGS))) xo

lovely i know you look forward to it
Happy birthday to your sister and hope both of you have a great day

I am doing all my decorating today! Outside stuff tomorrow or Monday because temps will go up so it will be the perfect time for it.

Enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and watching Miracle on 34th Street while waiting for my son and daughter to come home from the Christmas play rehearsal so we can start.

Hope you got all your decor up ! have a great day

that sounds like so much fun! I watched that movie this morning.
I got my advent wreath and candles out, only problem is the candles are too small for the holder, will have to figure out how to get them to go in secure.

tree is up, just finished putting 600 lights on it. Did the one suggested here, put lights inside near the trunk first then the ones on the outer branches, it looks great! I used the older mini muti colored lights and I love them, they have such a nice twinkle to them.

Just returned from the Christmas Faire. I bought some Scentsy items (Prancer and holly nightlight) plus six packages of the Scentsy melty thingies. I also bought several books by a local author, one including Murder in Mendocino. Then I bought an Italian cookie sampler that includes almond anise biscotti, messaluna, snowballs, amaretti, cuccidati, lemon ricotta, orange chodolate, coconut macaroons, Spezia, and sugar plum cookies. YUMMO!

CM3,
I forgot to wish your sister happy birthday. I am POSITIVE you and she will have a great shopping day!

What would you like to eat? It's the least I can do!!!

Chili or Corn beef hash sound really good. It's going to be a while though. It turns out that you're not allowed to bring black powder through the airport security checkpoints and now I've been "detained".
