Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good Morning, I hope everyone is doing alot better since we got the dreaded Monday out of of here... This past weekend, I started to put up my outside Christmas lights on Saturday, the day started out overcast and then it started to have a little drizzle and a fog started to roll in. With this type of weather, did that deter me from my task at hand?

No way; I was a busy bee out there running all my electrical cords, timers and such and by the Sunday evening, I had 80% of the lights up. But the weather had finally gotten the best of me, with the constant drizzle and fog for 3 continuous days, I felt like a drowned rat...So, I finally gave up and now hopefully today/ this evening, I can finish putting the lights up on the roof without worrying of falling off (pulling a Clark Griswold).

I stopped by an Ace Hardware yesterday and they had some all these decorations there still in stock, like Blowmold Christmas outdoor decorations and such, I couldn't help myself and I bought a couple more for the front yard! Man my wife doesn't miss a thing, it took her all about 2.5 seconds of looking outside and here is a re-cap of the conversation;

"Where did that come from?"... "What"...."That"... "Ummm that"..."Yes that, it wasn't here last year!"...."Are you sure?"..."Yes!"....I don't know, ummm, can't remember?"..."Uh-huh!!!" (as the door was closing)! lol...

I love it! Its beggining to look alot like Christmas.....

Last night before bed I noticed a pretty big hard lump on my rib. I don't know what it could be, but it feels bony. The spot where the lump is was exactly where I felt all of the pain from coughing and was where my ribs were hurting. I of course looked it up online and the results just creeped me out saying things like bone cancer. This morning I am a little sore there. I am hoping it just has something to do with all of the strong coughing that I did. I suppose if it doesn't go away by next week that I will go to my doctor and they will probably send me for an x-ray. Keep me in your thoughts/prayers that it goes away on its own!

Sending another prayer for your improvement. Try not to worry too much. You can make yourself really sick trying to diagnose yourself on the internet. I've done it before. Shoot, I was even considering planning my funeral at one point, thanks to internet research! It turned out to be nothing much at all.

It's best to leave that to the professionals. Until then, take care of yourself! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's cold out there this morning in central Indy. It looks like we will hover right around freezing all day long. I have a few errands to run and then it will be back home to get some more cleaning done. I also have to figure out what to make for dinner tonight. I want some thing warm since it's going to be cold out. I just don't know what. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's still foggy and overcast down here in Bellville. It's been that way for a week. I'm ready for some blue skies...or at least some snow!

We put some Christmas lights up at Bernie's store last weekend, but we were having trouble with the lights on the front of the store. They would work late at night, but would go off early in the morning and come on late in the evening. I finally tracked it down; somehow, the receptacle for the lights at the front of the store was wired into the power for the light outside the back door...which Bernie leaves on at night, but turns off when he gets to the store early in the morning and doesn't turn on until he leaves that night. LOL

Nancy's mom is having her gall bladder removed today, so I'll be out this afternoon. Hopefully, she can start feeling better once it's out. A quick prayer for her would be appreciated!

Aside from that, I am having a good morning. I am all done with everything for school. The only thing that I have to do is get ready for finals! It is cold and rainy out so I don't feel like going to class, but I guess I will be a good little student and go!!

Keeping you in my prayers. I do hope it does go away on it's own & it's nothing to worry about! Could you have cracked or fractured a rib w/ all your coughing? Or maybe it could be cartilage that poppped through your ribcage - normally goes away after time? Whatever it is - I'll be hoping & praying it's nothing serious & it goes away quickly!!

I did baking from 9 am - 9 pm and ended the evening with the Michael Buble Special. What a perfect ending! By the way, I am not done baking! Got to get back to work here in a few.

Good evening, Christmas family !!

Well. Today went along fine. After about a couple of hours the pain went away and my toes and fingers unswelled and I could type. It is just those first couple of hours in the morning.

so glad the new med is working but yes those 1st few hours
My has the same thing and she has the paon in the morning to she sets her alarm for 4 and takes 2 tablets and she says it works

Jennifer Stop reading the internet. when i had my ribs broke i had 3 bumps for about 2 months after it and it was only tissue and stuff
But connect a dr to get a xray if you worriied but i wood not be
