Good evening, Christmas family

I am actually going to bed super early tonight......Just a bit down today. I SWEAR if one more thing goes WRONG I am just going to take all the decorations down and call it a day.........

Obviously I am not in the right mind set to chat....

I hope all here have a very Christmassy evening xo

oh canine, i really hope you feel better after a good night's sleep and things start looking up.

i'm moving house this week. whose bright idea was this? it's HELL!!! so stressed, but i just keep thinking how amazing next christmas will be in my beautiful home that will be all organised and decorated. i know i'll have many happy christmases in my new home. this one will be a tad stressful and not quite perfect, but i still believe it'll be my best one yet.

i cannot believe we are here guys, i want time to slow down!

Hi JOHNOR! I am in the same boat as you. We move right after the holidays, and it's so much stress right now. I am excited to move, as I'm sure you are..but everything that could go wrong today, did. Ha! Trying to laugh, if not I may cry =)

Boy, oh boy, things are starting to pick up.....and I'm getting so excited I can barely stand it....

Tomorrow night...although it's simple...it's one of our most exciting....the last trip to the store before Christmas....we buy all of our goodies....and it is just a blast....

Why is it that during the year i hate going to the store, but at Christmas and Thanksgiving, I just love it!

I've got to work on the menu for Christmas...I will catch yall later.....

Hubby is watching the Titans and Jets play in Nashville. It is so fun to see the skyline and other sites when they are between plays. We stayed at a hotel just across the road from the stadium summer before last. We love the bridge scenes and the scenes of what we call the Batman building!

We had the chili beans I made yesterday for dinner tonight. Yummy is all I can say!

CM3, I hope you get to feeling lots better. It is a bummer to feel that way. I felt that way about this time last year when I found that lump, so I know somewhat how you feel. Have a nice spot of tea or, better yet, a mug of coffee or hot chocolate. It won't cure anything, but I think you might feel a tad better. Take care!

Thinking of Johnor and Snowflake as you transition to new homes. Even though it can be stressful, there is also an element of excitement. Both of you, too, need to take care and not exhaust yourselves too much. I know how I would sometimes push myself to get lots accomplished, but don't do too much!

Thinking of all of you, especially MGRamsey's mom and all of you with health concerns for yourselves and loved ones.

Well 2 days of work then I am off for 7 days!!!

Well, I am not sure if I shared this story or not...but let me tell you all about my Christmas shopping experience last week!

I wanted to pick out some nice shirts for my brother since he needs a few new ones. I walked up to the counter to checkout and here was my conversation with the employee who was ringing me up:

Her: Doing some Christmas shopping?

Me: Yep, for my older brother.

- She holds up a shirt -

Her: This one is so nice, I bought it for my boyfriend.

Me: That's nice, I really liked it too.

- She picks up another shirt -

Her: Oh! This one reminds me of Freddy Krueger!

Me: Excuse me?!

Her: You know, the creepy guy from a Nightmare on Elm Street.

- Silence -

Her: I can't get over it, this shirt looks just like his!

- Stuffs the shirt into the bag -

Her: Better than looking like Where's Waldo! Have a great day!

i always sounded extremely southern even for these parts. my hubby's from New Jersey, so as we have been together my grammar has gotten a bit better. i have noticed when i'm around others from here i talk more like i used to. we have a lady @ work whose from Colorado & she makes fun of my talk & some of my sayings. oh well, she moved here....i didn't move there huh?

It's funny how different regions have different accents, even though I am in the same state as Boston, where most people tend to drop their "R's" at the end of words, in the western part of the state we do not have that accent.

One week from tonight will be Christmas Eve, and I will be on vacation. Another long day at work, at this point each day will get longer. Day off tomorrow, I have to bring JP to the Dr. I am hoping to get more gifts wrapped, and a haircut.

One more day until my vacation! My sweetie is still not feeling well, but like I told someone at work, a week off with my sick wife is better than a week at work.

They voted for lemon cheesecake instead of the usual baked what??? I am curious! LOL! Hmmm. Or am I just nosey?

baked cheese cake....expense one to make anyway, takes 5- 8oz pkgs of cream cheese and over an hour to bake, I only make it this time of the year. That is the one I took to our family Christmas party.
