Took JP to his Dr appt, he has to get a CAT scan due to the headaches he has been experiencing. I am nervous about this. Please keep him and us in your thoughts and prayers.

Well I just got done making 2 more batches of fudge for my mom to take to work tomorrow. Now I'm going to kick back and watch the end of Polar Express and then I'll listen to the podcast.

After chatting with so many of you on Sunday and listening to your voices on MCR and the podcast---I feel closer to you than ever, but I feel the distance more, too. One of these days we must meet ...

MerryCarey, same thing happened to us last year and somehow didn't make the podcast. We left a greeting but Jeff never received it so not sure what happened. Sorry to hear that happened to you!

The email the greeting was attached to didn't get through for some reason. I have a foolproof plan for next year, though!

Well, a wide variety of things....for several different nights....

cookies, ooey gooey cake, chili, chicken spaghetti, baked beans, sausage balls with my special dip, and a couple of other side dishes for the big meal....

I'm SO sad ... the greeting that I sent in fell through a crack somehow and didn't get included in the podcast.

I just want to make sure that all of you know that it was a thrill and a pleasure to hear your voices again, and that Mr. and I wish you all a VERY merry Christmas, and the best of everything in the New Year.

I am starting to feel a bit better and after a good nights sleep should cure this cold completely! I am not sure how much I will be on here for the next several days because Wayne and I will be in full Christmas mode starting tomorrow right up until Christmas Day. As Bob Cratchit would say, "I was making rather Merry", yes that is our plan!

We will try to be here for Darlene Love with the rest of you, if not, we will be thinking about you all!

I will try to pop in when I can between now and Christmas to say hi!

Did I ever tell you all that you're the best group of online people around? As mentioned on the podcast by Christmasstar, I hope we all can meet face to face someday!

A bit of rain Monday night and early yesterday morning, but we had some sun by the afternoon, albeit with a chilly wind. Should be calmer today.
Currently, we show 36 degrees here in the capital city.

Final 'Pines open house before Christmas!

Carl has pulled out every stop to make this a memorable day at our resort Inn of choice.
Not only will there be continuous Christmas music and movies playing, ALL the red and green frosted fired twinkies you can eat are free!!
And rumor has it TWO door prizes will be awarded to lucky visitors. At least one of them is supposed to be a special Christmas ornament.
(I have heard it is in the shape of a camel but that hasn't been confirmed.)
