Good Morning, Friends.

Still enjoying Christmas Season 2012.
Hope you are.

Getting a little sad as we reach threads end.
But a little excited as we reach the launch of "Christmas Season 2013"!

Beginings and endings. It's that time of the year, Folks.

Hey! You have a Fabulous Friday.
(Last Weekend Eve of 2012, you know!)

Good morning!
I am sad thinking about having to work new years eve and miss out on the fun here. Thinking about taking my laptop along since we are not expecting hardly any business from 11 to 1 anyway so may get some time to log in. By 11 all the work except for putting away everything at close will be done. (corporate was the one who dictated we have to be open that late!) I can get on through my phone, but the computer is easier.

Need to check out the song, Already Miss Christmas that you guys are talking about. Hope everyone has a good friday and a safe weekend!

Watching Scrooged now, bed beckons soon. We will be taking the boys to see Wreck It Ralph tomorrow.

Good night all!
My 22 year old son and I are both interested in that movie. I just get a giggle out of some of the scenes in the commercial. Takes me back to even the Atari days and my son is a big time video game player, so is Wayne. Let us know how it is.
I miss that! It was so much fun!
I miss those prizes from Seawaters too!!!! I think about that sometimes!

We are probably going to disconnect everything tomorrow. I'll be going nuts, not being able to check in. I'm looking forward to when we are all settled in our new place. And I look forward to talking to my Christmas family again, you guys are a real comfort to me & I always feel great when I'm on here.
Looking forward to your full return! Have a safe trip!

Me too!

One Lime Green Flurry!

One big....

Hello everyone, can you believe that tomorrow is going to be the 28th already; what???? Christmas was here??? What, Where, Who.....lol

Tonight was a little break from the norm, I got home from work and the wife says "were going out tonight for dinner!" Oh Boy, that was sure fine with me! After dinner, we drove around for a little while and looked at Christmas lights then went home.

When we got home, my daughter was there with 3 of her friends (can you believe this, every single one of them had just broke up with their boyfriends sometime over the past week or so). So they're all just glumping around (my saying) sitting there looking like "what do we do now...." sort of look!

So, I went upstairs and I had made up previously, a little gift for each one of them, a chocolate bar with a McDonalds gift certificate and a I-Tunes prepaid gift card wrapped up with ribbons and bows... They were all excited then, I got a hug from each of them, then off they went, out the door heading up to McDonalds... I guess sometimes, it's the little things that count....

My son gets home and says "hey, I didn't get any", (is that a surprise?), I reached around and pulled out of my back pocket two more McDonalds gift cards for him and his friend... He's smiles from ear to ear right now....

Very nice of you and they will remember that forever! My dad was the only one who made me laugh when I suffered a "traumatic heartbreak" when I was a teen. I cried all day, stayed with my best friend all day who was consoling me but I just could not bring myself to smile at all. By evening my dad came home from work and saw I was sad. He has always been a comical guy and just would not give up being silly that until I finally busted out laughing. I will never ever forget that! I was sad that whole entire day until he got home. Well, I was just starting to feel better then my ex calls me up and wants to get back together with me! Lol!

About time for a strong cup of tea here ...

Last day of work for 2012. They decided to close the office for New Year's Eve, with the understanding that January is going to be nuts around here, so we should relax and enjoy the calm before the storm.

Are you and Mr. going to watch some vintage films for New Years Eve?

I got so much sleep! Took a 1 and half hour nap yesterday evening and slept nearly 10 hours last night. It was nice!

My daughter plans to come over for a visit today so I am looking forward to her coming over. I rarely get to just sit down and visit with her. It's usually her or her husband dropping off and picking up the kids so they can go to work. She is just so tired to just hang around and I can't blame her. She is a teacher and on vacation right now so she is just going to come over and relax! I think we might play some games today!

I hope you all have a Merry Day!

I am working tonight and then have the weekend off.

Tomorrow is lunch with friends and I am serving sliders on home made buns and apple blossoms with ice cream for dessert.

I get those nights once in awhile where I just crash and then am surprised to find I slept so long.
have a fun day with your daughter!

Good morning, MMC! How are all of you today? I am well. Just sitting here and relaxing. I am not going to do much today, but some housework and play within DS. EA is at preschool.

What is everyone else up to? Nothing new going on here. I go back to work tonight, then I am off for 2 days. I am off for New Years Eve and then the next day. It is nice to have off 2 days in a row. DH and I both have off for New Years Eve night, so we plan on going out somewhere, we just haven't decided where yet. We did make dinner reservations already though. It will be the first in at least 7 years, so I am pretty excited.

Well, off to read some posts. Now that Christmas is over, I am going to try to better about reading the Countdown daily. I won't as busy now with activities and such.

Talk to you guys later on. Have a great day and God Bless. Keep smiling!

I was happy to hear that the Today Show reported a poll of when people take down there Christmas decorations. Here are the results:

41% Leave them up until January 6
30 "something" % until January 1 (I couldn't remember the exact figure)
only 17% Day after Christmas

There was 1% said leave them up all year
The rest said it all comes down by Valentines Day

I am glad the high percentage said keep them up that long!!! I figured that it would be a lot more that took them down the day after.

My daughter just called and on her way. I am going to cook breakfast for us. I will try to stop in for a visit later today.

Have a great day my Christmas friends!
