I have heard of Acappela. They also did some kids' songs. Didn't they also do Where in the World Is Carmen San Diego?

I think that group was Rockapella.

Good morning everyone! I skipped church and am watching Roseanne episodes on TvLAND...I liked her early Halloween and Thanksgiving epi's before she went all political and crazy...anyways I looked on Hallmark channel for their schedule and it looks like the last movie for the 2012 Christmas season will be moonlight and mistletoe which is a great Christmas film..it comes on Jan 2nd from 4am to 6am. I am really in the dumps when I think about it being the last 2 days of the year and everything is over...I know I have so much to look forward too but it's always hard bidding the holidays farewell. I think we are having leftover today for dinner and tomorrow we are having friends over for a cookout..grilling sausauge and burgers! Have a great day everyone!

I arranged my remaining vacation days so I wouldn't have a five-day week anytime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. So it's going to be a grind going back to five-day weeks. And we're expecting to be crazy-busy to boot. Well, there's today, tomorrow, and New Year's Day yet, and I intend to get the most out of them before going back into harness!

Please keep my sister Vickie in your prayers. The doctor found a spot on her lungs. Also keep my great nephew in your prayers. He went into an asthma-induced coma.

Not sure how much snow we got, but I think it's at least six inches. Our friend who does our yard work plowed out the driveway and shoveled the walkways, and Mr. is cleaning off the cars and shoveling the back deck. We'll stay in today and I'll fix spaghetti and meatballs. Was going to do that yesterday, but we had some errands to go out and do, so we ate out. Got my Chex mix made for NYE munching!

Thank you for staying home & not passing it on. I realize peoples beliefs & needs to go to church, but when someone sits right next to you who has a terrible cough, cold, flu, coughing up a lung, constant nose blowing...then they want to shake your hand at the sign of peace. EEK! I always think "why didn't you stay home & keep your germs to yourself?" I really am not a prude or a germ-a-phobe, but that is a pet peeve of mine! HA! I do not think anyone will go to Hell for missing a week of church b/c they are sick! I just don't believe it!
you are so right! Read this to LittleCS who is here also sick and we both had a good chuckle.

going to play some playmobil with kandice......western stuff....a goldmine....a bandid handout and her fort and saloon and bank and sheriff office....so im audi for now

But, oh well, I will call my kids at midnight and then give them all their hugs in the morning.

good-morning.gif

I stayed home from church this morning, we all have colds and thought it not fair to pass on to anyone else.

Baking some raisin bread that I put a hand full of dried cranberries in to see how it will taste. Will let you know how it turns out, right now it does not look like it is rising very well. Took it out of bread machine so I can let it sit longer if I have to.

For now, I am still trying to drown this cold while relaxing and watching Nims Island with LittleCS

I hope you all will get over your colds quick ~ good thing to stay home and not pass it on to anyone. I love Nim's Island ~ good story and Gerard Butler, too cheesy

Prayed for them before I typed this and will continue to pray for them, Seawaters. {{{HUGS}}}

Good evening, Christmas family

We had more snow today and I will not complain !! I am GLAD to see Winter ACTING like WINTER !!!! I worked for a bit today then when my husband came home we gave Wish his infusion. I think I hurt him today and I have been upset with myself ever since. He is going to wind up HATING me because I am always shoving pills down his little throat or poking him with a needle........I hope somehow he understands..

Doing a little better with the Christmas blues but they are still with me. If I had anything else to look forward to other than Christmas maybe the Christmas blues would not get me so bad but as Christmas is it for me and there not really anything else I think it causes me to be much more sad when Christmas is over.

I am sure Wish understands, just like kids when you are for forcing medicine down their throats, baths, cleaning their rooms. They always love you. Even when they get mad at you.

I have records in need of a record player....mine died need to find a new one

I need a record player, too. I found a bunch of Christmas compilation albums from the 60s and would like to listen to them. Not to mention the copies of The Partridge Family Christmas and An Osmond Family Christmas that I've had for years and have yet to hear. A turn table/record player is going on my wishlist for the coming year :???:

I don't mind at all - our neighbor is Cory Luebke. He was a (new) starting pitcher until he needed Tommy John surgery this past May. He should be back by the end of May or early June. He is doing great! He was at our house the other night - he really is such a good guy! His whole family is awesome! We are hoping he can come back stronger than before....he deserves it! :)
:rudolph:

I have never heard of him, I hope he he does come back stronger, there has been a good track record of pitchers coming back after the surgery.
