Good evening, Christmas family

We had more snow today and I will not complain !! I am GLAD to see Winter ACTING like WINTER !!!! I worked for a bit today then when my husband came home we gave Wish his infusion. I think I hurt him today and I have been upset with myself ever since. He is going to wind up HATING me because I am always shoving pills down his little throat or poking him with a needle........I hope somehow he understands..

Doing a little better with the Christmas blues but they are still with me. If I had anything else to look forward to other than Christmas maybe the Christmas blues would not get me so bad but as Christmas is it for me and there not really anything else I think it causes me to be much more sad when Christmas is over.

I hope all are doing well.

I managed to find one Santa on my shopping trip and my sister just called and told me about another one she saw. So I'm off to the north side of Indy. I'm also going to meet the friends I went camping with for dinner since they are both in town this weekend.

Hope you had a good time ~} the one your sister saw could she not have bought it for you or are you fussy where your santa,s are concerned lol

At the moment i dont , i could have, i have been asked to go out 3 different places but my mates know the kind of me
I dont want to be anywhere at 12 o clock other than my own home. with my partner,uncle dogs and birds,
Befour 12 and after 12 i wood go anywhere,
Dont no but i dont like new years night, i think its the most false night of the year
People going round wishing you a happy new year , and 10 minutes later they wood start a row lol its just something to say they dont really give a hoot, so i spent it with people and things that care and are there for me all year .. well thats my wee rant over,

Me nothing much , a friend wants to go and get a dress for tomorrow night so said i wood take her after she finish,s work
We had snow last night did not lay as the ground was wet but i can see the mountains from my house and they are covered, its bitter cold today , might take a drive up as the montain is only about 3 mile drive from me
Well guess i wood need to go, so you all take care whatever your doing today

Good evening,

We had a great day at my grandparents Christmas celebration, there was 4 generations of my family there. It was so nice to see everyone. The drive home was treacherous the snow started coming down around 3, and when we left there was 5-6 inches on the ground so we took the long way around instead of going over the mountain. I love seeing my grandparents Christmas decorations, there is so much history in the decorations and ornaments, the ornaments she hand painted, and of course her huge Santa Claus collection. LC loved the ornaments, he is so much like me when it comes to Christmas, I walked him around pointing out some of the ornaments and he had to touch them and he was in awe.

I will be shoveling out tomorrow.

Harlowe is so anxious, and not doing so well. The Sedatives make her sleepy, but she won't sleep

Oh good grief !! The self destruct systems called "8-Track"...Lost LOTS of tapes to those beasts !! xo

I always hated 8 tracks. When I started to really get into music, they were being phased out and cassettes were the big thing, so I didn't have to deal with them too much.

Records are what people use for coasters and bowls now, right? cheesy

We know a woman who takes old vinyl records and turns them into cool looking chip/snack bowls. That might be a scary thought to you RJD. cheesy

I still have some vinyl records, just a few though. Anyone ever heard of the Christian vocal group called Acappella? Those are the records I still have.

My dad would have a heart attack if we did this to his LP's!!!

Scary indeed when folks don't know the value of the vinyl they are repurposing!

Granted, most vinyl found at thrift stores, etc, isn't worth much if anything above the purchase price. However, I did see a photo once of a multi tiered candy dish (?) that someone made from 33 1/3 records and the top record was worth around fifty bucks to record collectors! Seems like I posted that somewhere.

Found it!

That top record may be worth $25.00 to $50.00.

That bottom record isn't that nice! (There is a YouTube of it but don't click on it if you are offended by fowl language; comment section not lyrics.)

I hope the Padres will be a better team this year, they are my favorite NL team going back to the days of Tony Gwynn. Who is your neighbor if you don't mind me asking? Enjoy your quiet time.

I don't mind at all - our neighbor is Cory Luebke. He was a (new) starting pitcher until he needed Tommy John surgery this past May. He should be back by the end of May or early June. He is doing great! He was at our house the other night - he really is such a good guy! His whole family is awesome! We are hoping he can come back stronger than before....he deserves it! :smile:

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! Brr, it's going to be a cold one here in Central Indy where we currently stand at 10 degree's. It looks like we will top out in the middle 20's. I'm dragging today. My friends kidnapped me after dinner last night and forced me to stay out until almost 3am. I may have had a few drinks but I don't think there was any table dancing involved. At least not that I can remember. Now I have to drag myself to church. I'll be back later to catch up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Wish will love you no matter what but I know what you mean! I don't like doing stuff to my dogs that upset them. Chico hates when I give him a flea treatment and looks so sad. That is not really a big deal but I just don't like doing anything that makes them upset. Hugs to Wish!!!

I am the same way, I struggle to look forward to other things after Christmas and set my mind on it to combat the blues. I just love Christmas (and other fall holidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving) so much and no other holiday does the same for me. At least we have Christmas in July to look forward to! That always seems to help with the half way mark to the grand holiday! =)

I was wondering the same about Pumpkin Spice Lattes and asked an employee. She told me last year they had them until February but it varies from store to store.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! Brr, it's going to be a cold one here in Central Indy where we currently stand at 10 degree's. It looks like we will top out in the middle 20's. I'm dragging today. My friends kidnapped me after dinner last night and forced me to stay out until almost 3am. I may have had a few drinks but I don't think there was any table dancing involved. At least not that I can remember. Now I have to drag myself to church. I'll be back later to catch up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My next post was going to be, "Where has Made been"??????? Seriously! LOL! We missed you on the Skillet last night and I know you said you would be there. Boy, you better get to church, sounds like you misbehaved last night! :lol:

I am not one for new year eve parties either, that is why I agreed to work it. (of course that was before I found out they were staying open until 1am!!!)
But, oh well, I will call my kids at midnight and then give them all their hugs in the morning.
