Me and Coach figured it out last night. Dallas is going to send your coach, offensive coordinator, and Romo to Denver. Denver is going to send Peyton, Stokley, and Tamme back here to Indy. Then the colts are going to give you our coach, offensive coordinator, Luck, Wayne, and Freeney.

We are going to have our annual New Years Eve celebration with the grandkids this evening. We ring in the New Year extra early with them around 7-8 pm because they leave early with their parents. They don't want to be on the roads late with the crazies! We do a countdown, holler and scream Happy New Year then toast with sparkling grape juice in plastic champagne glasses. Then we usually step out on the porch and pop champagne poppers. Fireworks are illegal here (even though a lot of people shoot them off). We play some games, listen to music and eat. The kids really look forward to it!

Oh yeah, then we are going to Made's house to ring in the New Year!!! :D

You better have the lear standing by when your party is done. I usually wrap my party up around 10 or 11. That way I can get on here to ring in the new year with all of you.

As a Colts fan, I want Peyton back!!!!! I know they had a good run this year without him but I don't think that would have happened without the Coach getting leukemia and all of the emotion that surrounded that.

You will still be ringing in the New Year with all of us if we are there past 10 or 11. We will all be there! :D

We thank the Colts for letting Peyton go! The guy is a professional and a joy to watch and I know that I am not telling you anything new.

That being said ... I think you guys are going to be very happy with Andrew Luck over the course of his career.
 
Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a "warm" day here with a high of 38 degree's. Then more snow arrives around 5 o'clock. So bundle up if your coming to the party!! It looks like we only get around 2 inches this time. I have a lot of cleaning to do today and then I'll start cooking. I'm thinking bbq'd meatballs and little smokies, Cheese dip, Sausage balls with Coach's dip, cookies, fudge, and lots of coffee and tea. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
 
Big snow flakes starting falling here in the last hour. 2-5 inches expected through out the day and evening.

I am glad that I am off work today and I have no where to go!

Nice.... last year here, we got nothing! This year so far, we get a little (about an inch or two) and thats it.

It's amazing around here to watch the county and state waste our tax dollars away.. the other day, they were calling for 1-3 inches of snow, and the county and state pre treated all the roads, had salt trucks sitting everywhere's (at every 7-11 and Duncan Doughnuts; lol...) and put the goverment on a liberal leave policy! I just shake my head...

How much money do you think do you think that cost us (the tax payers) for the state and county to salt for an inch of snow that melted in 2.3 seconds when it landed on a paved surface and paid all those county and state workers all that overtime? My point is, that they panic here over an inch of snow. And the people here, (well thats another story) they have no idea how to drive in bad weather... they think I'll just by a 4 wheel drive and then I can drive 80 miles an hour or tailgate you in the snow, ice or rain! How many languages can we say DUHHHHH! I like to send them all to a place, say like Utah, Montana, Maine, etc... where they have to learn how to drive in bad weather for at least 6 months! Anyway, these are my rants of the day....!!!! lol...
 
Last morning of the year....

Wow....

It was a great one. Had a lot of fun and enjoyed getting to come read each day. Kinda my escape from the outside world.

Tonight is going to be low key for us. We might end up at my MIL's for a bit...but we will be home well before midnight. I am hoping we are here around 10:00, so I can ring in the New Year with MMC....

But today, I'm off to work! Got somethings in the office I need to do....see yall later...prolly around 1 or 2 ish....

It's been a fun year. Watching Peyton play for your team is much different then watching him destroy your team. :)

Good evening, friends!!

Just had a quick second to pop in and say hello, and wanted to let you know that we are safe and done driving for the night. We are in Santa Rosa New Mexico approximately a third of the way to Wisconsin. The roads of been pretty good, thank God. And thank all of you guys for thinking of us and keeping us in your prayers. Harlowe is doing pretty good, she sure is a trooper! Her first evening was rough, but she's hanging in Better now. Hope you all are doing well! I sure miss you guys!!
On a side note, all of the small towns that we are stopping in for gas or a rest stop, have the cutest Christmas decorations! They just warm my heart and make me think of you guys even more. Take good care, and hope to talk to you soon.
