kandice just went to bed...all by herself....she will come out every 20minutes in the beginning...then every 10minutes...then every 5 minutes

Woke up to a chilly morning here in northern California. It is a sunshiny day with blue skies and no breeze. I was able to eat a little last night, but not a lot. I think it is time for another vitamin infusion. That's how tired I feel. I go for an MRI tomorrow for a bone density scan. Bring on the Xanex!!! I hate those machines!

I'll keep you in my thoughts.

And you're far stronger than I am...cleaning while alone! If I find my wife and kids away I eat horribly (pizzas, burgers, things like that...sometimes in the same sitting cheesy) and watch John Wayne movies. I admire your discipline!

I can't stand it when the kitchen is messy, plus I am trying to keep my mind off of the PCB's

Back to the grind for me as well...Got a bad case of the PCB's AND a cold that has me feeling even downer and outer...But comfort is what I was seeking, and here is where I searched, and I found it. The torch continues to be carried, the feeling continues to live on and the friendships flourish all year long.

All the best for 2013 my frieinds! They say that you are about as happy as you make up your mind to be...I'v decided to let myself feel down today, with upswings int he coming days...

I got a good reason to keep my Christmas lights lit or a few more weeks. I store them in the garage right, and so I went and purchased a new garage door (I'll save myself some embarassment on explaning what happened to the one that is there presently; ahemmm), needless to say, I had some explaning to do to the wife for having to spend 2500.00 on something that I should not of had to do in the first place....

So, as I was saying, I'm getting a new garage door and the company called and told me that I must have the garage cleared out for installation of the new door. So, last night, I told the wife that we have to keep the lights up for a couple of more weeks! She looks at me and says, get this, "If I didn't know you better, I'd swear to it that you busted the garage door on purpose in order so you could keep the Christmas lights lit"!...

Awww man does she know me.... any excuse not to unplug them and take them down, I'll take it! I'm praying for a Noreaster, so we get about 3 feet of snow, boy wouldn't that look nice with the house all ablaze and the snow coming down.... I'm wishing, I'm wishing, I'm wishing....

That's the way to keep them going. My wife lets me keep them up as long as I want (as long as it's not February) but I have to do all the decorating and take down by myself.

Back to work ggrrr. Taking the decorations down tonight and the diet has started. Might as well get them all in at once since I'm depressed anyway. Hope you feel better Seawaters.

Awww...I hope you feel better. I know what you mean, in fact, I think all of here feel the same about undecorating. My tree will be up for quite some time yet but the outside decorations will go unlit from now on until they are put away, when the snow melts a bit. Hoping you feel more cheerful soon !! xo

I do too, as well. I have lots of Christmas books on my iPad and keep them whenever I need that extra Christmas boost.

I DVRed a lot of Christmas movies and stuff for the kids this year, so I figure whenever I want to watch or they want to, we will, no matter if it is in June or not!

I have a number of Christmas movies on the DVR but when I tried to record Music Choice Sounds of the Season, my system would not let me...I got a message that this particular station is not set up to record.

My EA does this sometimes too, but just once, saying she has to potty. Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't. We figured out it's because she wants to see if we are going to bed too.

A lot of the books I have are Christmas themed, they kind of remind me of books that would be made into movies on Hallmark, which some have been. I have some of Debbie Macomber's. just search Christmas and so many books pop up.

Oh and for those that are getting the Christmas blues, Carl has done something special! Heck its special for everyone! He is pulling an after Christmas, Christmas party! Complete with egg nog and the Christmas vacation moose mugs. He has Christmas movies running all day and the music is cranked. Hot chocolate, candy cane chocolate and more!

I was kind of bummed out last night, usually some tv channels (like TNT, TBS, AMC, etc...) will keep all the Christmas shows where you can watch them on demand for free. Year after year, I could go back up to a month after Christmas and they would still be there. Not this year, bam right after New Years, almost everything has been deleted that was Christmas related... for example I watched on TNT a Christmas Carol (with patrick stewart) on New years Day and yesterday; gone.... what a let down...

I said well, time to break out the DVD's as I sat back with a fire in the fireplace, blanket thron on my lap, while drinking a loaded eggnog.... Who said Christmas was over.....
