A lot of the books I have are Christmas themed, they kind of remind me of books that would be made into movies on Hallmark, which some have been. I have some of Debbie Macomber's. just search Christmas and so many books pop up.

I was kind of bummed out last night, usually some tv channels (like TNT, TBS, AMC, etc...) will keep all the Christmas shows where you can watch them on demand for free. Year after year, I could go back up to a month after Christmas and they would still be there. Not this year, bam right after New Years, almost everything has been deleted that was Christmas related... for example I watched on TNT a Christmas Carol (with patrick stewart) on New years Day and yesterday; gone.... what a let down...

I said well, time to break out the DVD's as I sat back with a fire in the fireplace, blanket thron on my lap, while drinking a loaded eggnog.... Who said Christmas was over.....

I can suggest two that are free in iBooks:
"The Christmas Angel" by Abbie Farwell Brown
"The Romance of a Christmas Card" by Kate Douglas Wiggin

These are both vintage books, but I recommend them highly! And, what the heck, they're free!

Hey all! Went into work around 7:30, got done around 1:00. Got a lot done and worked around the house. Now, kick back and relax for a few hours. Teachers are back tomorrow and kids are back on Monday. So, let the madness begin...here we come summer!

Just think...when we get to summer break, which isn't that long away...we will be on the doorstep of Christmas in July!!!! I just cant' stand the next two months. Cold, wet, and just nasty.

Good evening, Christmas family

A good day today.. Work went well and Wish's infusion went well. In fact, it went well yesterday. He seems to be feeling pretty good. I try not to think about it but once in a while I get a little teary eyed knowing that he is considered end of life or palliative care. Palliative care CAN last for quite a while with some conditions but not sure with kidney disease on top of congestive heart failure.

I listened for a long time to Music Choice Sounds of the Season this afternoon and now I have on a sit com. Really missing the Hallmark Christmas movies.

Same as it is every year, ball drops, everyone hugs and smooches, music that sounds extra crappy. TV host getting drunker. (Jenny McCarthy last night) She seemed blitzed by 1 am. Every year is almost like Why did I stay up and watch this?

Trust me, I'm not sorry I missed it.

Why would people fire guns off? What goes up must come down. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Nobody ever said these people were too bright.

Well I'm home from the pine's and I have to say, I'm missing my Christmas tree. Not even the tree really, just the lights. Laying on the couch by the light of the tv just isn't the same. So I'm going to head to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!
