Christmas Countdown - 2013

Real life is back ... I'm trying to get documentation that will allow me to fly back home with Dad's ashes to Maryland for burial. I don't have the required documentation because the embezzling executor who had to be removed didn't pass it along to the current executor. I have to get a lawyer to try to get it for me. Hoping this will be a fairly easy request, so we can all finally put this fiasco behind us and lay him to rest back home.

At least it's Friday! I'll try to put this out of my mind over the weekend.

I know I have taken pictures of this tree in the past but it never came out as well as the one taken on The Galleria Mall's facebook page. It's the country's tallest indoor Christmas Tree and Wayne and I go every Black Friday to watch the ice skating show. This year we were in San Antonio on Black Friday but we did go to one of the shows on a Saturday in December. We go to this mall throughout the year as well. I thought this picture was impressive so I thought I would share. If you notice the 4 floors crowded with people? Yes, it's this crowded every year for the show. We usually get there a couple of hours early to grab a spot or you miss out!

hi there everyone....watching the Chipmunks movie right now...been at the doctor this morning....the sore throat is nothing serious...just a second infect on top of the old one...but still nothing that would make antibiotics necessary....still...I should use nose spray...not too often tho...drink lots of teas with honey, gargle, rest and he said it is ok for me to take pain killers against the sore throat...since it is really bad at nights....so i will be doing all of that and hope that I will be recovering soon

I'm glad your sore throat is nothing serious and I hope it goes away quick ~ take care, track!

Go ahead and add me to the list of ill people! Lol! When I was sick for over a week with that cold, it seem to get better but I woke up New Years Eve morning and my ribs were hurting but instead of gradually getting better they hurt more everyday! Yipee! It hurts to breath, cough and sneeze. I can't even sleep on the side that hurts.

I will be okay though! I still have all my Christmas decorations up and watching Christmas shows so that will heal me! Right???

I hope all of you who are feeling sick, get well soon!!! Xmastidings wife too!

Good early morning everyone!! I just had to get up with snowball..I think his bladder infection has come back...I have called the vet and he is going to see him first thing in the morning..Vet said he may need surgery..please keep him in your prayers..I don't know what I would ever do without my ball!!!

Poor Snowball ~ I'll be praying for him!

A s someone said it asonly 50 more fridays to christmas does not seen that long well does it ~}
The weather is nice over here at the moment, mild with some rain ,
Took some more decor down today outside but still have lots still up i hate it !!
Bit of a saddness round our town today a young lad of 23 hung himself this morning just above my road at the football pitch . another guy found him about 6 this morning, he and his girlfriend fell out 5 weeks ago and he was so cut up about it, i no the mum and dad and the lad himself and the brother, i really dont no how am gonna go to the wake,
Other than that the shop is busy,
Hope all that is down with flu,s and colds, and everything else feels a bit better

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's still cold here in Central Indy but not as bad as it was the last couple of days. In fact we have already passes the high from yesterday. I think I'm starting to come down sick again. I fell asleep at 9:30 last night. That's just not normal for me and today I just feel kind of blah. So my plan for today is to load up on antibotics so it doesn't get any worse. I also need to set down and make out a grocery list and head to the store this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sun is out here, but the wind is making it cold . . . very cold! I hope you aren't coming down with anything serious and that you are better soon!

It is a cold one here today, but the sun is out so all is good. I did errands this morning and then cleaned the house a bit when I got back home. Soon I will have to work for a few hours. I'm rather sleepy right now as I did not sleep well last night. It will be interesting to see how many typos I end up with :grin:

We have a crew with a bucket truck taking down the city's Christmas decorations tomorrow. I think I'll miss them as much as those at my house.

I've seen two log trucks hit my Christmas banners on the power company poles in the last couple weeks. One of them tore a banner. Grrrrr. They're made of canvas, so hopefully we can get some red thread and repair that one. Why can't these guys drive?!? I swear, I'm going to the sheriff to get a badge, then a blue light for my golf cart......
