I don't know how you do it all, Sugar xo Have a great night and if you are off I hope you get to rest........xo

I hear you! Our computer modem went on the fritz yesterday. Talk about withdrawals!!! Hubby drove to Chico today to buy another one. Finally, we are back in business!

I absolutely detest computer problems....I start withdrawal about an hour after I can't get on here plus I have had circumstances where I sit down to work and bazinga !! No computer :-o GRRRRR

LOL!!! You always make me smile!

Glad to hear that you are starting to get settled!! If you need any help I'll gladly send CAH over after she gets my dishes done today.

Take good care of her, XmasTidings. I am sure she will appreciate it!

My wife just called me and told me that she is sick! :-? Oh no..... you know what that means, as Linus said in It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, "I'm doomed!...." :(

You have had so much to deal with on this. Take care. Here's hoping that everything works out soon!

Real life is back ... I'm trying to get documentation that will allow me to fly back home with Dad's ashes to Maryland for burial. I don't have the required documentation because the embezzling executor who had to be removed didn't pass it along to the current executor. I have to get a lawyer to try to get it for me. Hoping this will be a fairly easy request, so we can all finally put this fiasco behind us and lay him to rest back home.

At least it's Friday! I'll try to put this out of my mind over the weekend.

Impressive, CAH!

I know I have taken pictures of this tree in the past but it never came out as well as the one taken on The Galleria Mall's facebook page. It's the country's tallest indoor Christmas Tree and Wayne and I go every Black Friday to watch the ice skating show. This year we were in San Antonio on Black Friday but we did go to one of the shows on a Saturday in December. We go to this mall throughout the year as well. I thought this picture was impressive so I thought I would share. If you notice the 4 floors crowded with people? Yes, it's this crowded every year for the show. We usually get there a couple of hours early to grab a spot or you miss out!

Take care, CAH. Did you break your ribs somehow?

Go ahead and add me to the list of ill people! Lol! When I was sick for over a week with that cold, it seem to get better but I woke up New Years Eve morning and my ribs were hurting but instead of gradually getting better they hurt more everyday! Yipee! It hurts to breath, cough and sneeze. I can't even sleep on the side that hurts.

I will be okay though! I still have all my Christmas decorations up and watching Christmas shows so that will heal me! Right??? :D

I hope all of you who are feeling sick, get well soon!!! Xmastidings wife too!

Good evening, Christmas family

A nice day today. Took off work (I am going to make at least part of it up tomorrow) and we went grocery shopping, stopped at the vet for more Lactated Ringers and more needles, and had breakfast at Bob Evans. It was cold but that is how January is SUPPOSED to be here.

Wish is doing well. We bought him different food today and he really seems to like it. Before I feed him though I have to sprinkle this powder on his food which is a phosphorus binder. I guess phosphorus can cause quite a problem with kidney disease. Plus we had to make sure the food was below 20% protein. We put him on canned Science Diet for senior adults, only 4% protein !

I am just so blessed to have him still with me. I know that could all change in a millisecond but I am hoping......

We will have blood work done either at the end of next week or beginning of the next to see how his kidney panel is (BUN, creatinine, etc). I am hoping and praying his BUN is closer to normal (30). It was 129 when he was admitted and 69 when he was discharged.

I put my advent calendars away today and it wasn't too bad. I still have my tree up. That is going to be the tough one.

I know there are many here at MMC who are sick - I am praying you all feel better.

Dawg - A special prayer for poor Snowball.....I HATE when animals get sick - They can't tell you where it hurts, xo.

Seawaters - Hope you are feeling better xo

I have now lost nearly all the weight I set out to. I have lost 20 pounds and just have 2.5 to go !!!!

I hope all have a very Christmassy magic evening and special (((HUGS)))) to:

Ella, Harlowe, Snowball, Gomez, Ophelia, Sidney, Alex, Merlin, Snickers, Victor, Daisy, Diva, Mickey, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Chico, Meca, Alvin, Charlie, Gary, Bailey, Jerrold, Irving, Martha, Uncle Julio, Missy, Scooby, Sasha, Jacob, Cracker, Bunny B, Penny, Pocket, LuLu, Bear-Bear, Stripey, Holly, Fate Puppy (London,) Buster, Missy, Baby, Santa's Polar Bears, Sangria, O'Malley, Beau, Taz, Zema, Rizzo, Bella, Happy, Sam, Guinness, Holly Noel, Larry SR, Mama, and all furkids everywhere xoxoo

Yes!!!

ok question for everyone . In the spirit of the past years song a day thread which i thought was awesome it got me thinking would it be possible to do a reasons i love christmas. I could name off a bunch no problem but could it be done for say a 300 day countdown ?? It would be tough toward the end i think but it seems like it could be a fun experiment . Any thoughts????

Since I had no computer access, I went to Starbucks this morning. I had a nice comfy seat but was informed that if Binger showed up and wanted the chair, I would have to move!!! That Binger is well-known in the coffee world!

I am sitting here listening to RJD and the top 100 Christmas songs on MCR. Every hour my new Christmas carol clock goes off. It is a Kincaid clock that I got after Christmas for $4.00!

Hubby is down at the Elks Lodge to supervise the Cub Scouts as they watch Cars 2 for movie night. I stayed home to rest my last few days before school starts on Monday. I am really not looking forward to going back to work. I truly hope I can keep up with the kids. We shall see!!!

After reading Snowflake's post, I, too, have been thinking of you all. I truly appreciate all of you and your friendship. Here's to the beginning of a new year! Praying for all who are ill, for all the furkids, and for all who are going through PCB. Please take care, dear friends.
