Next time, Dawg, we will wait for you!

Dang it. I missed the lear! I was already gone to the store before I saw this.. Well thanks anyways I am sure it was better than the tacos, from taco bell that we ate!:rudolph:

I haven't broken mine because you can't break what you don't make!!! LOL! I didn't make a resolution per se, but I did make a "determination." I am determined to become organized in my scrapbooking and to try visit here everyday.

Good early hump day morning! I had to take Kylee out so I decided to just stay up and check in here..I have a few hours before I leave for work. I heard on the radio this morning that this week is the most depressing week of the year according the Dr and scientist no doubt. I guess the logic is that the holidays are over and vacations are months away, and no doubt everyone who made resolutions have already broken them(I have btw) oh well we have an excuse this week to feel blue I guess:) have a great mid January morning!

I really want to win that door prize!!! Thank Carl for offering it to us, Crown!

Good Morning, Practically Perfect Pines-Pining People.

Can it really be 'Pines Day again already?

Can we be this far along in our count already??

Days to the Season: 301
Days to Christmas Day: 343
Tomorrow, Guys -- Milestone # 1 -- the 300-day Season Window.
Then.....
our first 200's level count.
Wow.

Coolish and damp here yesterday but today should be nicer, at least for one day.
The bottom drops out by early next week and by mid-week, the weather service says possible lows in the teens.
BRRRRR!
Right now, we rest at 45 degrees here in the capital city.

Well sir, Carl got wind of Binger's pending opera and he's making that the theme of today's open house.
Music from some of the great operas will be piped into the building, Carl will be wearing a horn cap and the door prize just might be a ticket to Bing's next performance.
What anticipation!
(Better be there.)

And have a Wonderful Wednesday, as well, Friends!

I have gluten allergies and Subway here in the Dallas area have gluten free bread. Not sure what other cities/states have it. Anyway, Wayne and I traveled to New York City last year and I saw a Subway. I told him, "No problem, we can eat there, they have gluten free bread". Nope! They had no idea what I was talking about. I thought that was strange! I can see a small town in the middle of nowhere but a very large city like that would definitely have that available. It was then I figured out it was not available nationwide. Not a big deal but I just thought they would have it.

we do not have gluten free products etiher. I did have a lady come in and ask about it the other day. The problem with our location is space. We are very small and do not have the room to carry a variety of products that the bigger free standing places do.
I suggest you write the head office and request they provide gluten free bread in all the stores.

I would have thought the same thing, CAH, especially since they cater to so many people!

That's the way I look at it! This place always makes me happy!

When I was in elementary and high school, we got snow days; so we didn't have to worry about snow. In college, however, I lived on campus and school was not closed at all. But I didn't mind going to class. In fact, it was a lot of fun. At least, by then, girls could wear pants to class, thank goodness!

Good morning, MMC!

This week is going by much faster than last week. I woke up this morning around 4 AM to get a drink of water, and when I looked out the window we had snow. The cars were completely covered. Then when I woke up a couple of hours later to start my day, most of the snow was gone. It looks like we got some rain on top of it and I heard it was pretty icy out this morning. It looks like they cleaned the roads up, though, so I should be fine to get to campus and back.

It has been very cold out. The past weekend we had temperatures in the 60's, but now it dropped back down to the 20's and low 30's. Next week we are supposed to have highs in the teens and lows in the single digits. I am not ready for that cold!

I am excited that tomorrow is a milestone day - yay!

How lucky can you get?: You are "home" with a gorgeous view, you have family nearby, and it's snowing!!!

You couldn't have said it any better!! =) xo

Excellent logic, CAH!

This seems to be a running joke with my mom. Just about everything she loves gets discontinued. She will tell me some type of food that she loves and I tell her not to say it too loudly because they will rip it off the shelves if they know it's her favorite. We will go to the store together and as we enter she will mention she is picking up her favorite chip dip (or something like that). I will say, "Oh mom! You just blew it, they are pulling off the shelves as we speak"! She laughs and says, "Probably so"! From now on she needs to complain loudly in the store how she "hates" her favorite food. They will never take it off the shelf then! =)

I woke up to non-snow today. We do have frost on the pumpkin, however. Today is minimum day with collaboration in the afternoon. Then we have an Elks dinner meeting tonight. TTYL

Me too !! But they stopped selling my very favorite sandwich of all - Seafood and Crab...I can still get turkey though !! xo

it is always that way, you get hooked on something and they stop serving it!

If they ever stop serving meatball, they are going to have one ticked off customer here.

We are getting soft water today. Culligan is here...just like we had at our house in Las Vegas..but it's quickly Gone from simple to complicated! :/

We are renting our townhouse, So I thought this would all be simple. It turns out that it's not. We have city water, but Culligan thought that we were just outside of the city limits so we didn't have to follow their bylaws and what not. Well turns out we are just inside of them, so now we have to deal with the city inspector and apparently we don't have a close enough outlet in our utility room for the Soft water. So, we had to call our property manager and see if we even could install an electrical outlet box. Of course, we would have to cover the cost. She is very cool, and got the property owners to sign off on that really fast, but we have to use their electricians which is just fine with us. Luckily it's going to cost us less than $100. But what a pain in the you know what! So Culligan is still here, city inspector and electricians are coming next. Keep your fingers crossed for us that the rest of this process is painless! Thanks!

Here's hoping that there are no floods or electrocutions during the rest of the install!!!!
