I hope the storms weren't too bad.
Yeah, it was in the 80's yesterday and it will be today, too. Crazy.

how's it going? it's a balmy 64f here as i wake up this morning.
all this talk of bacon has me craving breakfast. yum, i love bacon. like the pooch on the "beggin strips" commercial says.
time is marching on & all is well here @ home. my daughter has started the new semester great. even though she's missed alot of days for illness she has caught up & is loving English & HISTORY for the 1st time.
as my hubby says, "work is work" & all is fine w/ that.
my son is doing good this semester. this should be his last semester @ the local USC campus then off to the big 1 in Columbia ( University of S.C.) i just hope I'll be able to handle it as he moves down there,
my oldest is well also. he's the last of us (w/ the exception of hubby who never gets sick) to get sick. his is more throat, cough, & cold. his b-day is tomorrow so i sure hope he feels better then.
gosh, i've missed you guys alot. i know i'm not here much but things have gotten a bit busy here.
seawaters, i think of & pray for you daily.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
Both of my kids wanted me to wake them up at 6am this morning. WHAT?!?! On Wednesday mornings, the youth minister from the Baptist church that my cousin's family attends takes the kids to a local restaurant for prayer breakfast, then takes them all to school. This young guy has really got a lot of the local kids excited about church, mine included.
If this keeps up, they might make a Baptist out of this old Methodist. :lol:

thank you, but right now it is not to bad here, some rain erasing the snow and the wind is picking up now. Supposed to start getting stormy again around midnight. I will make sure to get out of work as close to 11pm as possible and hope it does not hit till I get home.

Here we are it is Wednesday again, late shift for me, blecchhhh! It is quite warm, it's not going to be in the 60's like they said but in the 50's, still that is warm for January. I ended up watching that "A White House Christmas" TV special I had saved on my DVR yesterday, that was a great special, it had interviews with quite a few members of First Families. I definitely recommend it if it comes out on DVD, it shies away from politics, thank God, and you will learn quite a few things, like Bill Clinton is obsessed with Christmas, Ronald Reagan always had his Christmases in the White House so members of his Secret Service team could spend the day with their families. The pictures and videos they showed were great also. I should look up and see if there is a book about it.
Just going to relax before work.

It's be interesting to see what some of their houses / their families houses look like @ Christmastime nowadays.
