It's 70 degrees here today. In January! We're supposed to have heavy rain and thunderstorms tonight. Gee, we will be hearing the Spring Peepers before we know it!

Shoot, it's 82°F here today, and the wind is about to blow my office trailer away!

Well y'all went and did it. Over 5,000 posts in January. Heck in 2008 there was only 5,103 posts for the whole year. I'm pretty sure that we will have more than that by the time tomorrow is over.

It was 64 here earlier but we are down to 54 now. Tomorrow the high is going to be 20. Straight line winds damaged 34 houses in one neighborhood here last night. They thought it was a tornado at first but the weather office said no.

35 mph winds, snow, dropping temps, and pure ice under the snow. Har & I attempted a walk, and we couldn't even look ahead

That time again, I get to go to work. Wednesdays used to be fairly slow, but the last few weeks have been way to busy for only one person to be on. That means it will be a very long and tiring night for me.

Shoot, it's 82°F here today, and the wind is about to blow my office trailer away!

It was 64 degrees here today and overcast. A cold front is just starting to push thru Baltimore now, triggering thunderstorms. Can you believe it, thunderstorm in January. Tomorrow, the high is supposed to be 30 degrees; Wow, now that's a temperature swing for you....

I spent all morning watching a plumber re-pipe my grandfathers boiler, it quit working friday night because the system/ hot water piping, sprung a leak in the expansion tank and had no water pressure. Upon my further inspection, I found a couple more leaks, caused by the pressure reducing valve that had failed and with the uncontrollable water pressure, the old pipes and equipment could not handle it and it was blowing the system apart.

Well, I spent all morning there making sure everything got done properly and was tested as well. It's all fixed now and he's up and running just in time before the temperatures dip back down in the 30's tomorrow. Me. I'm back at the office now and will stay late tonight to try to make up my time so that I do not have to use up my vacation time... So Ill be here for awhile tonight!!!

how's it going? it's a balmy 64f here as i wake up this morning.
all this talk of bacon has me craving breakfast. yum, i love bacon. like the pooch on the "beggin strips" commercial says.

time is marching on & all is well here @ home. my daughter has started the new semester great. even though she's missed alot of days for illness she has caught up & is loving English & HISTORY for the 1st time.

as my hubby says, "work is work" & all is fine w/ that.

my son is doing good this semester. this should be his last semester @ the local USC campus then off to the big 1 in Columbia ( University of S.C.) i just hope I'll be able to handle it as he moves down there,

my oldest is well also. he's the last of us (w/ the exception of hubby who never gets sick) to get sick. his is more throat, cough, & cold. his b-day is tomorrow so i sure hope he feels better then.

gosh, i've missed you guys alot. i know i'm not here much but things have gotten a bit busy here.

My furkids are okay, but Wish is probably on his last legs. But he is still here now !!!

just looking at that system that goes from the gulf of Mexico all the way to Ottawa. That is what is bringing temps up and rain here.
Praying that no tornadoes come out of this.

It is so nice sitting here with windows open a breeze blowing through the house. Hoping to banish those cold germs my daughter is spewing around.

Right now thinking some breakfast might be nice...what to have??

Good Wednesday morning everyone. More crazy weather today. After a couple of days with highs in upper 50's,we now have severe thunderstorm, high wind and tornado warnings today. The rain is forecast to end tonight as a dusting of snow.

This winter has been a big disappointment. Accuweather and the almanac predicted a colder than normal winter with above average snowfall for us in the mountains of NC. Boy were they wrong.

My dad turns 82 today. Can't believe how time flies.

Crown! Is it Wednesday!?

It has been warm for the past few days and we even ran our air conditioner the other night, today it's cold! Brrrrrr.... No complaints, I love the cold air! I am still going to go ride my bike, it will wake me up!

I had planned to come on here and catch up but gotta run! I will try to catch up later! See you at The Pines!!!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Both of my kids wanted me to wake them up at 6am this morning. WHAT?!?! On Wednesday mornings, the youth minister from the Baptist church that my cousin's family attends takes the kids to a local restaurant for prayer breakfast, then takes them all to school. This young guy has really got a lot of the local kids excited about church, mine included.

If this keeps up, they might make a Baptist out of this old Methodist. :lol:

thank you, but right now it is not to bad here, some rain erasing the snow and the wind is picking up now. Supposed to start getting stormy again around midnight. I will make sure to get out of work as close to 11pm as possible and hope it does not hit till I get home.
