Oh and the househunt last weekend was good but my goodness I was spoiled by the low cost of living and houses in the southeast!! we are looking to rent at first maybe signing a year lease or less. but it has to be 3 bedrooms and a house no apts! or condo!! I loved Utah though it is beautiful!Anyways I better get back to work! Have a great afternoon though and enjoy your valentines day...don't eat too much chocolate!

I'm glad to hear that you loved Utah!!! My sister got the cost of living shock when she moved to Seattle. Their house there is 1100 sq ft and cost almost $200,000. My sister here has a 3200 sq ft house and is paying almost $40,000 less.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is a clear-sky, breezy beginning to Valentine's Day here in northern California. I went to the doctor yesterday, and she changed my meds because the pain was not becoming less. WOW! What a difference!

We're not going to be able to visit my beloved Smoky Mountains this weekend. There's too much happening around here right now. I hope it won't be too much longer before we can visit!

We had a very nice date at The Steaming Tender, Prime Rib, yum, and their signature dessert the Strawberry Shortline, which is a strawberry shortcake made on fried dough. I have been having very bad back spasms all day, I am in a lot of pain. Back to work in the AM.

Glad about that. It is really important to get the right hairdresser who does exactly what you want OR even makes constructive suggestions. I had the absolutely best hairdresser when I was in my 30s and 40s who knew EXACTLY what I needed style-wise. She gave the best haircuts ever!

I picked up my friend for dinner at my house. When I took her home a few moments ago, I saw seven, count them, seven houses with decorations still decorating the night! Two had solar Santa lights for the walkways, one had lights around the outside, one had lights up the handrails, one had icicle lights, one had an outside Christmas tree with white twinkle lights, and one had four or five trees (with no lights) that you could see through the front windows. This was all on one street!!! I was amazed!
