Plus, Jennifer, I always think: I am worth it; it's my money; and I don't splurge all the time, but when I do, then I want quality! Plus, I spend money like I got it, LOL.

I questioned buying them for a while but I figured I buy myself cupcakes from the store all of the time that are nowhere near as good and they probably added up to the cost by now!

I guess I better force myself to go to bed even though I'm not tired. I have my first exam of the semester tomorrow and it's on seven chapters - yikes! I had to study over 150 pages in the textbook, all of my notes, and the powerpoints.

We have the most wonderful customers at Subway in Tavistock! One of them stopped in tonight to say thank you for making him great subs and to wish me a happy Valentines day, and gave me this lovely rose. Last week a customer paid for dinner for another when our debit machine was done, telling her simply to pay it forward and do the same for someone else.
I love working in a place were people come first.

Happy Friday everyone and a belated happy Valentine's day to you all. I'm working all weekend so no days off for 15 days straight, which is rubbish. On the upside I'm going out for dinner tomorrow with my wife to celebrate Valentines day. I can't believe its half way through Feb already. Have a good one people. Also we have spotted a large yellow thing in the sky which some claim is the Sun spring is on the way!

We had a very nice date at The Steaming Tender, Prime Rib, yum, and their signature dessert the Strawberry Shortline, which is a strawberry shortcake made on fried dough. I have been having very bad back spasms all day, I am in a lot of pain. Back to work in the AM.

What are your plans for the weekend?

My sister may drive to Eau Claire tomorrow if the weather is nice. I would love to see her, and just have sister time. Fingers are crossed.

It's been one of those days. My cousin works with my mom and called me about noon saying that he was bringing her home. Apperantly she had been having problems writing and she said that her whole right said was numb. So when he got her here I took her to the er. The doctor said that she was really weak on the right side and wanted to make sure she didn't have a stroke. So they did a CT scan and it came back okay. She was never slurring her speech or anything so I never really thought it was a stroke to begin with. So the ER doctor called and set her up an appointment with a neurologist for tomorrow morning. I never thought it was a stroke to begin with. She never slurred her speech or anything. I'm pretty sure it's Diabetic neuropathy but I guess we will see what the doctor says tomorrow.

Oh no, Made! Praying for your mom!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! What happened to the warm weather? It's cold out there this morning and it looks like we will only top out around 35 today. There are some light snow showers around also. I don't have much planned for today. Mom goes to the doctor at 10:45 and what they say will kinda determine what happens this afternoon I guess. Hopefully I'll make it home in time for the first Nascar practices of the year. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

The wife is waiting on a matched donor for a kidney. The told me about a blog they have for her and gave me the website. When I went onto to read about it they mentioned me in it and said how nice and helpful I was. That made my day!!! It is nice to be appreciated, isn't it?!
