Right now on our local news it was reported that a lady got arrested for calling 911 because she wanted someone to bring her some cigarettes.

Right after that the traffic reporter walked up to the weather guy with an an empty coffee pot in hand and said, "Call 911, we need more coffee"!

good morning everyone! I walked out this morning to find the last remaining remnants of snow melting, bummer. it would probably be too much to ask for 2 snows here in the same year huh? oh well....

having a little difficulty w/ my hands & fingers this morning. I woke up w/ some pain but I'm sure it will go away.

Good morning everyone.

I hope everyone had a great long weekend... If you were lucky enough to have Monday off - that is. I was not scheduled to have Monday off, however, two very close friends were getting married on Sunday afternoon/evening. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception. I could not be happier for them! In preparation for a late night, I took yesterday off. As mentioned, it was Family Day in Ontario, but federal government employees do not get Family Day off, so I had to call in.

Anyway, sorry for my disappearance for a week or so. Bad news is that I didn't get the full time position. Good news is that my grandmother is now out of the hospital and feeling better. It did not seem to be going well for a few days, but she pulled through and returned to her seniors' home.

It's great to see the countdown to 300 is in single digits! There are less than 10 days until the end of February. March is coming up quick! Well, have a great Tuesday, everyone! The 'Pines is open tomorrow... I can only wonder the plans of Carl. That camel is probably scratching his head and pondering how to celebrate being between holidays and (somewhat) between seasons!

Good morning, Christmas family

Getting ready to start for the day. Not much else going on. All the furkids are in their places sleeping. Clancy is in the bed beside me. Hermione is wandering around because she is bored, (potentially a very bad thing !), Wish is in his bed behind the couch and the kitties are having their usual feline morning adventures. I drank a Five Hour Energy like usual but for some reason this morning it really WIRED me. I feel like I could type a million lines a minute ! That won't last long though. They do not last five hours for me - at the most three hours.

I can't wait for Christmas in July !! I never have anything very witty to say but I enjoy Made and Binger and Coach and everyone else's comments.

I am taking a break from dieting. UGH. When I get to this point, I just have to stop. There is no use trying to make myself diet with this mind set. If the good Lord is willing, I will pick up where I left off when I am more ready emotionally. It is not wise nor healthy but I am going to have some of those things I have been really missing.

Wish is doing so incredibly well I can't believe it. Of course, that could all change in milliseconds. With only 25% kidney function, I guess he would be considered critical but you would never know it. I am an old hand now at administering the subcutaneous fluids - something I never thought I could do, but it is for his LIFE and I will do anything for my furkids.

That 5 hour energy drink never worked for me but I wish it did. If I am tired, nothing works at all!

I am so happy for Wish and glad he is doing well!

It has been sunny and mild for several days. Now we might get some sleet overnight and in the mid 40's all day tomorrow. Then Thursday sunny and in the 70's!

Overcast today, it's supposed to rain again. It makes it dreary, but we sure can use the rain.

I'm buying another Camaro today. LOL! There's another guy around here who's building the same model car, and he had a second car that he was using for spare parts. I'm buying what's left of it, and there's a lot of stuff I can use. Jim says when we're finished with it, we can sell the rest of it to the salvage yard and get most of my $$ back. Good deal!

I feel like I am at work. We have those boxes of doggy treats that we open up at work and set them out to sale them by the pound. I also give every dog a treat out of those boxes that come in our store. I just love my job! The more dogs, and other animals that come in, the day I work the better my day gets! We had 3 dogs and 1 puppy come in on Sunday. They all got hugs and treats from me! Sometimes people bring their birds, cats even piglets and all other types of critters in! So fun!

My mom's big doctor appointment is today. We are going to see if she has to change medications or not. Fingers crossed she doesn't have to!

It is pretty crummy out right now. It was raining this morning and now it is supposed to switch over to snow. I am hoping it doesn't get too bad because the appointment is this afternoon. The meteorologists around here are just really bad lately. On Saturday they said there was no snow in sight and we ended up with 3 inches in the afternoon lol!

Not much going on around here today other than that.

I will catch up after the appointment!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a chilly couple of days here in central Indy. Today we are going to top out around 30 and it looks like the rest of the week is going to be even colder. I've already gotten all of my cleaning done and now I'm just trying to get some work done on the computer. This getting up at 5:30am to take my mom to work is really messing with my system and I have a feeling that as soon as I get used to it, she'll be okay to drive herself again. Until then, I think after lunch is going to be nap time. I home everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!
