Good morning! Haven't been here since Friday morning, so I've got quiet a bit of catching up to do! Coffee, biscuits, and mmc....going to get today off to a good start!

Made & Coach, I dont follow NASCAR, but that was an awful wreck at Daytona yesterday. Lots of fans in the stands were injured, some seriously.

It was terrible and to tell you the truth, I'm surprised that no one was killed. They got lucky that it was the nationwide race and not the cup race. So the stands were only half full. The car hit the gate that allows fans from the stands to the infield before the race. That was probably the weakest part of the fence. I really don't know why you would have that gate there when there is a history of wrecks in that spot. I also don't know how you can ever completely stop stuff from going through or over the fence when a wreck like that happens but that's the next big safety innovation that all forms of motorsports need to take on.

Today is going to be warm. So I'm going to work in the yard a bit, wash the truck, and try to play outside. I'm getting cabin fever....need warm sun.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another chilly day here with a high in the low 30's. At least the sun is going to be out. Usually I'd be fired up that today is the Daytona 500. After yesterday though, it's kind of hard to get excitied. So I'm just going to spend the morning doing some cleaning and maybe making some blueberry muffins to snack on during the race. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Good evening, Christmas family

I am heading to bed shortly. I have had the nastiest, nagging migraine all day. It was really kind of odd. It IS a migraine yet it kind of stayed in the "background" as it were and I was able to work and function and do everything I wanted to do. The bad thing was it stayed all day and is still there now. I am planning on taking more medication and plugging in a Christmas movie.

As per usual my furkids are asleep, even Smokey !! Smokey is such a GOOD boy. He is my Siamese and he is just a love. Hermione Loves him with all her heart. She plays with him, slobbers on him, rolls him, play bites him and he never complains. In fact, he sometimes lays across her paws as if to say "Let play !" And he has that distinctive Siamese yowl. Dont ever let anyone tell you Siamese are mean. They are most certainly not. At least the Siamese I have raised. Smokey could not be more loving and affectionate. Lily who is my Tuxedo kitty is so much like Simon's cat it is unbelieveable !! If she could whack me in the head with a hammer to get me awake to feed her she would - and then look all innocent. She is a little 10 pound terror, but she is always there when I need a "soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur."

I hope the headache is gone today.

The rain cleared by yesterday afternoon and although it remained chilly, it wasn't too bad for late February.
Should be dry again today with warmer temps.
We stand at 44 degrees, currently.
