You are right. I have that on my dvr and I watch it some. But not as often as my other ones simply because it is so scary. The black and white makes it scary too for some reason. And the ending the way it is done like a news report....and that creepy music..to me it's more scary than Halloween..I love Halloween but it stopped being scary to me a long time ago, whereas NOFLD still is scary!!

Here are some interesting facts about the original Night of The Living Dead:

Bosco chocolate syrup was used to simulate the blood in the film.

The zombie hand that Tom (Keith Wayne) hacks up with a kitchen knife was made of clay and filled with chocolate syrup.

When the zombies are eating the bodies in the burnt-out truck they were actually eating roast ham covered in chocolate sauce. The filmmakers joked that it was so nausea inducing that it was almost a waste of time putting the makeup on the zombies, as they ended up looking pale and sick anyway.

The body upstairs in the house was made by director George A. Romero, who used ping-pong balls for the eyes.

Duane Jones who played the ill fated hero was at one time an English professor ! xo

Good morning everyone. So tired this morning, my 19 year old went out to a club with her friends and didn't get in until almost three this morning. I kind of dozed off and on while she was out but I can't really sleep well until the girls are all home for the night. She had to open this morning at her job so she didn't get much sleep. Unlike me, she was perfectly fine when she woke up. I wish I still had that kind of energy. Anyway, it's chilly this morning, only in the lower 20s but will reach almost 50 today and be sunny. I wanted to go birthday gift shopping for my mother yesterday but it was so beautiful out in the afternoon, my daughter and I decided to wash all of the cars. They needed it after all of that rain and snow we had Thursday and Friday. So I hope to make it to the mall today, still have no idea what to buy for mom.
I hope everyone has a great day!

I know what you mean !! When I was her age I could stay up all night and keep going all the next day with a few minute nap..Now, let's just say my get up and go got up and went !! xocheesy

Good Morning, Old Building and Loan Pals O' Mine.

George Bailey may or may not have been worth more dead than alive, but here's something that's worth more and more every day until the Season begins:
Days to the Season: 248
Days to Christmas Day: 290
A scant - and I do mean scant - five days remain until we enter the 2nd of 3 thirds of our Countdown to Christmas Season 2013!
Heavens to Betsy!

I LOVE the way you put this fellow/madam building and loan pal !! xo

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a warm day here with a high in the mid 60's. Unfortunately it's also going to be raining. At least it's not snow. We have to wait until Wednesday for that. Not much on the agenda for me today. My face is still swollen but not as bad as yesterday. So I'll probably just lay around and watch the race coverage and maybe a little golf. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Take it easy, Made. Have a relaxing day and get better, okay ?? xoxo

I may as well join the club ... I was going to mention the owl, but HomemakinGirl beat me to it! The TV shows and commercials one remembers really reveals one's age!

I agree...I may as well go ahead and reveal how ancient I am by posting this as one of my very favorite cartoons as a kid:

Good Sunday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

We're off to watch Elizabeth's dance troupe perform at the Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning, gang. Just wanted to drop in and say hello before I get up and start getting dressed for the day. I've got quite a bit of work to do before I get dressed and head out. I will be out of town for two days doing some challenging work. s It is something that mmy bos signed me up for a few months ago and wishes that now I wasn't going. I have been at work 2 days the past three weeks and will only be in 2 days this week. FRUSTRATING.

Anyways....got all the leaves mulched up and saw my first martin yesterday. Gotta get out there and get their houses ready. I love Martins, but I hate it when they leave. The good news is that when they do, I usually start doing a few Christmas preparations.

Have a blessed Sunday, y'all!

Have a great day Daddy Coach !!! I like Martins too. I like all the birds of Spring. It's the hot Summer I just hate !! xo

Well I am about to go take an afternoon nap. I am very sleepy today for some reason. Since it's Monday again tomorrow I need all the rest I can get. So have a good afternoon everyone!

I am absolutely whipped today - Didn't sleep last night at all and I mean literally and have been up all day...I just cant sleep.

I was the same when they were younger, but back then they had curfews and all had to be in by 11pm. Even so, as a mom we are programed to worry about our young!

Don't worry that commercial still finds it's way to TV every now and then. I remember seeing that commercial all the time watching Channel 56 while Mighty Mouse was on in the early 80's. It was always on with the "Hunk a Cheese" guy.

Good afternoon,

It is my day off (or 6th in a row), I am just hoping I don't get in trouble when I head back to work tomorrow for missing so much time. I still am feeling blah, but slowly getting better. My wife had to go to a wake for one her former students, he took his own life last week. He was only 16 years old, and no one saw this coming. Please keep that family in your thoughts and prayers.

We have limited plans for today, just have to do a few more things to prepare for LC's 5th birthday next week.

Sunny & warm, in the 50's today.

Have a good Sunday.

Good afternoon, Christmas family

If this is no coherent, please forgive. I went to my youngest goddaughter's bridal shower yesterday and for some reason when I got home last evening and went to bed later, I could NOT sleep. I have been up all night and all day. So far it has been 31 hours. I don't understand it. And I MUST work tomorrow. I was supposed to work today but I cant be putting inaccuracies in folks' medical records. I wouldnt want that and the folks whose records I type have enough problems. So I signed off w/o even completing one report.
