Christmas Countdown - 2013

I was the same when they were younger, but back then they had curfews and all had to be in by 11pm. Even so, as a mom we are programed to worry about our young!

She doesn't usually come in that late. Some of her friends just got home from college for spring break and they wanted to go out together. The clubs open late, I was tired before they even went out, lol. I agree with you, I don't think you ever stop worrying.

Good afternoon,

It is my day off (or 6th in a row), I am just hoping I don't get in trouble when I head back to work tomorrow for missing so much time. I still am feeling blah, but slowly getting better. My wife had to go to a wake for one her former students, he took his own life last week. He was only 16 years old, and no one saw this coming. Please keep that family in your thoughts and prayers.

We have limited plans for today, just have to do a few more things to prepare for LC's 5th birthday next week.

It is a crazy weather day here. It's 35 degrees- raining, sleeting, snowing, then hailing?!...then snowing again. Messy!! We have another Winter Storm Warning for tonight, into tomorrow morning. 6-8 inches of snow, mixed with sleet. Icy road conditions likely.

I am watching a lecture in Financing. Harlowe is sleeping at my feet.

We've had a pretty quiet weekend.
I was hoping to take a trip to Minneapolis, but the weather has just been too dangerous for traveling.

If this is no coherent, please forgive. I went to my youngest goddaughter's bridal shower yesterday and for some reason when I got home last evening and went to bed later, I could NOT sleep. I have been up all night and all day. So far it has been 31 hours. I don't understand it.

Now you see why I warned you not to order Carl's "Bridal Shower Blend" for everyone yesterday!!!

I hope you manage to get some sleep soon!!

All quiet here. He worked a side job on Friday and then yesterday he was at his Grandma's birthday party. Today I'm guessing that he is packing to leave for Kansas city in the morning.

I am so sorry to hear about your wifes former student. We had a similar situation last year with one of my daughters friends. Its heartbreaking, so hard to wrap your head around. Sending prayers your way.

Work wants me to go in and do a close shift tonight, but I just do not feel like it. (is that bad?) I was looking forward to having a Sunday night off for a change.

I am also enjoying a wonderful day, sunny, snow is melting and it is all the way up to 11c! (51f)

Don't worry, don't worry....Ballcoach has never been safer in his life while traveling...

I'm staying at a hotel where there appears to be some type of State Trooper Convention....there are around 75-100 armed people running around in this building...

Can you imagine walking into this place with the intention of wrong-doing?

Of course it is not a bad thing. I don't think I would do it considering the way they have always called you and expected you to drop everything. That is just not fair !! Let them get someone else, at least that is what I would do !!
