It's been a busy day so far ... I'm tired already.
Looking forward to a little extra daylight after work.
Can you believe ... Mr.'s office is already telling them there will be work over the weekend!!

They actually think she may have appendicitis now. She had a piece of toast this morning though, so they can't do the ultrasound until tomorrow morning.

I will keep praying for her!

Hello folks. Hoping to catch up after being away for a bit. I've had quite an eventful time. My parents were involved in a fairly serious car accident but thankfully are alive and well, apart from so aches and pains. They were extremely lucky given how bad the accident was to walk away from it. Certainly puts things into perspective for you.

Hello, 'Tis the season! I am sorry to hear of your parent's accident and so glad to hear that they walked away from it! I will keep them in my prayers.

Good afternoon, MMC!

:snowball:

Let us know how it went!

I want to go to sleep but I'm waiting for my daughter to come home from her prom. I have such a hard time staying awake lately, must be getting old. I hope everyone has a good night!

Beautifully said, Coach!

First ultrasound today and found out that we are at 12 weeks....

Whoa, whoa, whoa......12 weeks? We jsut found out 5 weeks ago....so during Christmas....Wifey conceived a little one????? Do what? As a matter of fact, we think the baby might have been conceived during the week of Christmas...really close to Christmas (but that's enough info, you don't want to peek that closely).....

Sweet. A Christmas baby....what a gift.

As they are doing the ultrasound....what do we see? Here goes the those few great moments.....

Ballcoach is sitting there taking video on his iphone, when he realizes that he and wifey want some pictures too....so he changes to camera mode....takes a couple of pictures...and as he looks at his iphone....he spreads his eyes and squints....to make sure he sees what he think he sees....realizes there is a much larger screen he can look at...hears his wife sob....immediately switches his eyes to the big screen...and the nurse goes uhoh....Ballcoach says with a raised voice....is that what I think it is? is that what I think it is? Wifey goes please don't tell him...please....and the nurse says it looks like a

boy!!!!!!!!

but she goes on to say I can't officially say that right now...ballcoach begs and pleads....please tell me I can go buy a glove...give me a breadcrumb....and she says I can't....

But I know what I saw....so does Wifey...and so does nurse....

and I just finished another milestone day in my life...

and I feel I don't deserve to be so happy....to have all these blessings....

and as I look at these pictures here tonight....the video of the baby moving...hearing the heartbeat...I realize something...almost profound....

My heart will never be in my body again....my heart will always be this child...

Yum on your breakfast, Dawg.

Good morning mmc! I could not sleep well tonight so I got up and read and then got online. Not much on tv that is for sure! I think I will cook a huge breakfast then go back to bed! I am in the mood for French Toast and turkey bacon! Any one up this early come on over! Have a great morning everyone!

Great to see you Victoria!

Wow! It's so great! It made me smile and really start waiting for Christmas. :] Thank you for posting this.

Sometimes it happens this way that you don't really feel like sleeping a required amount of time. ^^ Hope you enjoyed your breakfast. :]

And merry and nice weekend everyone on MMC!

Is it just me, or is the snowball fight heating up around here? I've been pelted several times over the weekend!

not good, but why would having toast effect an ultra sound? I can understand the having to wait for surgery.
will be praying for her

I didn't understand that either. Then they said that the ultrasound probably won't even show it and they will have to do a CT scan. So why they didn't just order that to begin with, I don't know.

She's not really in a lot of pain, so if it is appendicitis, it's not real bad yet.

Good Morning, MMC!!

Happy Monday!

Well, our winter storm warning was supposed to be over at 10:00 am, but the snow is still going strong! We've already got 8.5 inches. I bet we have 10 inches before it's all said & done.

Harlowe & I are going to be adventurous, and go for a walk before the plows come  She just loves running through the snow! Last night, we took her for a walk just as the snow was starting. By the time we got home, she still hadn't had enough, so we let her out on the deck, and she went nuts running around & kicking it up! It was like she was "attacking" it- too cute. Adrian took a video of it on his phone. I wonder how I could post that on here??

What is your day looking like?

I have to watch the rest of my Financing lecture, and then we have to take Harlowe to her new vet for some bloodwork, heartworm shot, and some Frontline. This will be the first time for her to have any of the flea/tick/heartworm meds & applications. Since we lived in the desert temps, we didn't need them. Hope she does ok w/ the frontline. She has really sensitive skin. I know my parents dog reacts to it. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Well, my friends, better get to studying.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Wish it was snowing like that here. We just have rain.

Rough day today. A friend of mine's 17 year old son hung himself this morning. Our son has played baseball with/against him since t-ball. You never know what is going on inside a teenagers mind. His parents had no idea how much he was really struggling with their divorce.

Prayers for the family would be much appreciated.

This breaks my heart reading about it. I am praying for that family.

That's terrible. My prayers are on the way.

I wonder if the other people in this waiting room would mind if I stretched out on the floor and took a nap.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

The Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival was a hit, once again. We had a good time, riding in the parade on Saturday, and watching Elizabeth dance on stage Sunday afternoon.

Here's me in the car I drove in the parade:

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

You look so AWESOME !!!!! Wow !! xo Classic cars suit you very well xo

got the laundry / storage room cleaned out this morning. I think that stuff multiplies when you leave it alone to much!!

Opened my computer and got hit in the face by 3 snow balls!! Watch out, you're next!!!

I was so glad I took all your advice and just kept my day off. It was nice to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Today it is a wet and gray day. The snow is disappearing quickly, smells like spring.

I always said your present employer did not deserve you !!! Who else would have helped them out all the times you have ?? Glad you had the day off....xo
