Good Morning, MMC!!

Happy Monday!

Well, our winter storm warning was supposed to be over at 10:00 am, but the snow is still going strong! We've already got 8.5 inches. I bet we have 10 inches before it's all said & done.

Harlowe & I are going to be adventurous, and go for a walk before the plows come  She just loves running through the snow! Last night, we took her for a walk just as the snow was starting. By the time we got home, she still hadn't had enough, so we let her out on the deck, and she went nuts running around & kicking it up! It was like she was "attacking" it- too cute. Adrian took a video of it on his phone. I wonder how I could post that on here??

What is your day looking like?

I have to watch the rest of my Financing lecture, and then we have to take Harlowe to her new vet for some bloodwork, heartworm shot, and some Frontline. This will be the first time for her to have any of the flea/tick/heartworm meds & applications. Since we lived in the desert temps, we didn't need them. Hope she does ok w/ the frontline. She has really sensitive skin. I know my parents dog reacts to it. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Well, my friends, better get to studying.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Stay safe! I have a few hours to work this afternoon and then the usual household chores await me - should go by fast if Palmer isn't underfoot. I will keep Harlowe in my prayers! Have a MERRY day, snowflake! {{{HUGS}}}

my firends 59th birthday party was on Saturday. We had a nice time at a local eatery. I made this cake for her...

Thank you, Meceka!! Hope your chores go by quickly ;) And that you have a merry day, too!! Hugs coming back to you, Palmer, and Mouse! Xo

I just had to share! My instructor just mentioned "It's A Wonderful Life" in my financing lecture!! ...talking about the savings & loans aspect of the movie. Made me perk up :)

I hope all is well and there was good news from the gi doctor!

They actually think she may have appendicitis now. She had a piece of toast this morning though, so they can't do the ultrasound until tomorrow morning.

Haha!! Took me a bit to figure it out, too! You just go to the person's profile that you want to nail, and click on snow battle tab, and then you'll see a blue snowball, just click it ;)

not good, but why would having toast effect an aultra sound? I can understand the having to wait for surgery.
will be praying for her

Hey Seawaters, just thinking of you! :)

Hello folks. Hoping to catch up after being away for a bit. I've had quite an eventful time. My parents were involved in a fairly serious car accident but thankfully are alive and well, apart from so aches and pains. They were extremely lucky given how bad the accident was to walk away from it. Certainly puts things into perspective for you.

Hi 'Tis The Season, nice to see you.

I'm sorry to hear of your parents accident. So glad they are ok. I will keep them in my thoughts & prayers!
