I did that for several weeks - I came up with zero times as I found I could wait on the info until I got home or I was too busy enjoying the moment to take time to record the moment. The only reason I ended up getting a cell phone (cheap model - no contract) was that my home phone went out and I got to worrying "what if I have to call the vet for Mouse" so I have one for emergencies. cheesy

We still have a landline phone but we also have cell phones for emergencies just like you mentioned, Meceka and ours do not have contracts either. I use Net-10.

Good evening, MMC!

My, it was a chilly day today. I took a walk around the yard - still soft in spots. There is a big ice block in the seasonal creek which could cause a flood in the back yard should we get the rain that is forecast for Easter. I do not mind rain, but I certainly do not want a flood. In the next day or so I am going to start some plants for the garden. There is huge stack of coffee take-out cups that I have saved. They are deep so hopefully there will be good roots formed! Might try to build a cold-frame, too. I've always wanted one, but we shall see. I am going to relax for the rest of the night and read some more of the biography of Saint Teresa of Avila I started reading a few days ago.

MERRY dreams!

Good evening, Christmas family

Not much going on here. It is still quite chilly outside but the temperature is supposed to start slowly getting better toward Easter. I was off today as we refinanced our house and had to close. It was a pretty good deal. It doesn't extend the mortgage any longer than it is already and it is a much lower interest rate. We will have some money to do some very needed repairs and stuff too. Tomorrow hopefully I will be back on between 5 and 6 a.m. working. At least the goobers are gone for those of you who remember those days !!

My "little man" Wishbone is doing well. I am so thankful. We were worried about Clancy so we had some blood work done and it was all normal. Hermione continues to mature. Now when we are getting ready to go somewhere all I have to do is ask her to "get in her house" and she goes right into the crate we have for her here in the living room. That is a HUGE improvement because at one time my husband would have to wrestle her into the crate. I am hoping she will be mature enough soon so we can leave her out of the crate with Wish and Clancy when we are gone.

I went to the drug store today and bought some temporary filler for my tooth. It is not a replacement for the dentist but it should help until I can get an appointment.

I have a lesson to review for my writing class and then an assignment so I am going to go for now and get started on that. On Friday the final exam will be released so we can take a look at it and get started. It sounds like it is going to be monstrous. I hope I get an A. We also have to publish a short creative work as our final assignment. I am using one of my blogs from here called "Autumn Memories" I have revised it a lot since I first wrote it for the MMC blog as we are limited to 500 words. I guess I am pretty happy with it. Of course, I am going to re-read it several more times to make sure I have done everything I can to help it.

Star - So glad you are done with Subway. xo

XMas - I really hope you are feeling better xo

Good evening everyone. Not a whole lot going on here tonight. My husband is doing some work in the kitchen right now. The only way this project is going to get done is if he does a little something every day. He's doing some plumbing work right now. I think I'm going to visit my daughter at work in a few minutes. She works at a frozen yogurt place, so I'll have to bring some home for everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful night!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't have a smart phone. Here's how outdated my cell is: my grandma made fun of it. Yep, that's right. We were at a family event and I wanted to know the score of a game. My grandma said, "Just look it up on your phone." I showed her my phone and told her I couldn't and she actually chuckled as she handed me hers and said, "Oh honey, here, just use mine."

That's pretty bad when your own grandma "out techs" you.

We don't have a smartphone either.

I AM having problems typing on this phone, so please forgive errors. Just south of Stockton waiting for Hobby who had a flat tire on the freeway. We are in separate cars which I will explain when I get to a really computer at SIL. TTYL8R. I did not want to type TTYL8R but I don't know how to turn off the blasted "automatic fill-in" on this phone until I get to Madera.

I was wondering where you were.

Lot of talk about iPhones on here recently...my wife and I have been thinking of getting one, or some other smart phone. We just have plain ol' cell phones because we've been too cheap to pay for data. But, any more, all new ones seem to be smart phones so I will need to break down and get one when we upgrade.

The main reason I want a smart phone: the MMC forums! I'm already looking forward to the Christmas Blossoms 2013 threat, and with a phone that has a camera, I can post all sorts of good Christmas finds...excited to go "hunting" for them in late September!

I LOVE MY IPHONE!!! love love love love love love love....

Darlene Love.....mmmmmmmm....that's another nice thought.....

She is one of my very favorite saints. I also really love St. Francis of Assisi and of course, St. Nicholas !! xo

Good evening,

Back from work, just watched my Bruins lose the game in a shootout. Just winding down now. Inventory went fine, just took my time and did a thorough job. I was looking at the hams I have left, I think I am going to run out of them on Friday the way it looks tonight. That never happens, I usually have more than enough. I am going to have some angry customers on Saturday. I will try to place an order for more tomorrow.

I have a special request tonight, a former coworker of mine is dying. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He is only getting medication for the pain at this point. He is only 36 years old, and he took in his sisters 4 children within the last two year when she passed away during surgery. He also has 2 of his own children. If you could please keep him and his family in your thoughts it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good night everyone.
