I'm currently locked in a grueling bidding war on Ebay over a part for the Camaro. My brother says I need a 3000 RPM stall speed torque converter. I say, "whatever THAT means, I guess I'll find it."

It's been my experience that folks on Ebay usually run the bid on up so close to a new price, you might as well buy a new one. We'll see how this one goes. The bidding ends in 2.5 more hours.

Well, how did you make out? Did you get the part or throw the towel in because the bids went up there too high???

It wouldn't let me put my cute pictures in here, but if you want the actual Word document, send me an e-mail address, and I can attach it for you =)

Good Morning, Friends of Christmas and Eve Enthusiasts (including Weekend Eve, of course).

As we stand here on the threshhold of yet another Weekend, let us pause, ponder, contemplate and consider the more important things in life.
Like this:
Days to the Season: 229
Days to Christmas Day: 271
Just 4 weeks from tomorrow will see the grand opening of the 200-day Season Window, through which we will gaze with wonder on 100's territory once again.
But the day before that happens, we pass the 1/3 mark to Christmas.
(Isn't this exciting?)

Well, mother nature is at least trying to warm up. It was nice and sunny here yesterday, but still a bit chilly with the occasional breeze.
Today should see an improvement and tomorrow will really see us warm up nicely.
We record 31 degrees here currently.

OK.
A Fabulous Friday.
It can be yours for a small price.
Just think Christmas -- that's all it takes!

Good morning everyone!

Good Friday morning. Yep. The long weekend is upon us. I love long weekend. Not much beats being off until Tuesday. I hope everyone had a decent workweek. Mine flew by! This morning, Kim and I are preparing to go to her mom's house in Cornwall for the weekend. Kim's mom is currently driving to Ottawa to pick us up. It should be a wonderful weekend of relaxation and delicious food.

The weather for the weekend looks great. No double digits/50s, but the sun should be out each day, melting away the snow. I think the white stuff will finally be gone in about a week and a half.

I haven't packed yet. I think I should get on that. It only takes a few minutes, but it's better to be done 45 minutes prior than 10. That way I can see if I have forgotten anything!

Have a great Good Friday, everyone!

lemon cheese cake done
chocolate cake baked
kitchen 1/2 cleaned up again
base for triumph spitfire done
Farlie pasta bows cooked for the salad
now to scrub the potatoes and wrap in foil for baking later

I've never heard or seen that either... Interesting! But, it's funny, and that why I'm commenting, that is because I have this box up in my attic, (24x24x24), filled with all these Califorinia Raison's that I collected from back in the early 80's when they were popular.

I've been thinking about selling them recently as well as my old comic books, baseball cards and possible my Lp's (about 2,000 of them). Just to unload them and finially start letting go of all of the stuff I have collected over the years. And a little extra jingle in my pocket never hurts....

You never know....some of your collection may be worth more than you think !! xo

Hey xmastidings! Happy Friday!!

This is a list of Holiday movies of mine that I made, just to be organized. I also put them in alphabetical order in the totes I store them in, so they are easier to find. There's mostly Christmas movies in there, but some are also other holiday movies such as ones based around Thanksgiving, Halloween, New Years, Valentine's Day, etc. and a few I put on there simply because I like to watch them in certain seasons because of the way they make me feel.

That's a great idea, mine are just all piled into totes with no special order or sequence. Being disorganized like that, I have in the past, simple forgotten and have accidently gone out and purchased a movie that I had already purchased previously and forgot all about it. A year later, I'm pulling movies out of the totes, scratching my head and saying to myself; "Huuugggghhhh, where'd this come come"???? I really do like your taste in movies SF....cheesy

Yes!!! That's exactly it, too!
There's been times that I couldn't remember if I actually bought a movie, or still needed to buy it. I keep an Amazon wish list & had to update it so it was accurate, lol.

If you make your own list, I'd love to see yours too!
