I bet you'd like "The Devil Bat" with Bela Lugosi! Lugosi has a grudge against a manufacturer who stole his formula for a shaving lotion. So he invents a new shaving lotion and trains giant bats to attack and kill anyone wearing that unique scent. Then he gives free samples to his enemies and urges them to "rub it on the tender part of the neck ... it's very soothing!"

Now that is what Hollywood is missing now, originality! Great idea, I may have to catch that one.

Hey everybody!!! I just wanted to drop in say HAPPY EASTER!! I hope you are all doing great! I'm hoping to go back & read some recent posts but hubby will be home soon & we're heading to a fish fry. The last one of the year!

All this talk of upgrading technology.. Hmm... Will I ever get rid of my VCR??? Still functions and so do all the 100's of VHS tapes I have so I will keep it along with my DVD player. We played an Easter VHS today, The Easter Beagle!

(Did I just open up a can of worms for a new conversation)!?

My daughters still have the tv's with the vcr's built in them in each of their bedrooms. Their friends make fun of them all the time, lol. They work perfectly fine.

I have been fighting this a couple of days but I am hurting and in general not feeling well. My right shoulder on down to my lower back on my right side is really hurting. I could hardly sleep last night. I really haven't been well all week, started out with cold symptoms then this! I had the kids for 12 hours yesterday, when they left I fell in bed and left a sink full of dishes and laundry in the washer and dryer. I hate doing that but just didn't feel well.

Wayne came home after working overtime and cleaned up everything! I told him I would get it the next day but he told me to rest. I am thankful he did because I am still not well today but at least I had the kids for only half the day. My son helped out a lot, he cooked the kids breakfast this morning then cooked lunch for them. I got a couple of sweet guys in this house!!!

I did manage to get up for a little bit and dye Easter Eggs with the kids.

I think the antibiotics may have been the boost I needed. It was a very strange easy day at work today, it was busy but I felt everything went way too smooth today, should I be worried about tomorrow? cheesy I can't believe the Red Sox season starts on Monday, I don't know what to think of them this year but I don't think they will be as bad as they were last year.
I think it is time for some shut eye.

We watched an old episode of The Kopykats this evening (a variety show featuring celebrity imitators). Frank Gorshin did a song as Leslie Bricusse---then out came Ron Moody in a Scrooge costume and joined him, imitating Alastair Sim! And very well, too! He even SANG in Sim's voice, and had his mannerisms to a T! It was something to see. Quite a surprise.

It turned out to be a British evening. We stared out by watching The Two Ronnies.

Time for bed. I have to take my car to the dealership tomorrow for recall repairs, and to find out if my insurance check will cover the repairs for the rear-end damage I got on the 18th.

This is sad but I don't even check on the Cleveland Indians anymore....one disappointment after another.... :-o
