Okay, I'll join you at the coffee shop and you send your hubby to help my neighbor move all of his furniture back as soon as the carpet people leave!!! :lol:

I told my neighbors this morning that I was going to catch a ride with them to madison on Wednesday and they said no. I have to stay and feed their cats and make sure our other neighbor doesn't poison them while they are gone. :-(

I think your neighbor would be in danger of being poisoned if I lived there.....:-o
 
Hello friends...I've been on the go all day trying to finish up Easter baskets, (yes, I know my kids are adults!) LOL!
I also ran to the grocery store which was MOBBED and got my brunch casserole ingredients along with fresh fruit and veggies to round things out.
I'm going to make a pitcher of mimosa to make things a little more festive and I just stopped at Panera and picked up some chocolate croissants and a fruit and cheese coffeecake...whew!
A happy and blessed Easter to all- I'm resting for a minute while I watch Marquette vs Syracuse and then it's cooking time!

Well she doesn't really have a problem with the cats. It's more of the fact that my other neighbors feed them on their shared porch at night. So as soon as the sun goes down, the food attracts everything. Including a very mean raccoon and 2 very territorial skunks. You have to be extremely careful if you leave our apartment building at night. The owners have told them more than once to feed them around the back of the apartment but they won't listen and continue to feed them in the front.
 
For some reason, I am very tired today. SIL and I shopped for groceries right after we shopped for ourselves! We picked up some of the lemon meringue and key lime marshmallows and will make the rice krispies squares later. Then we will make the Mississippi Mud Cake and mix up the ingredients for the rolls. We are going to Mass in Fresno tomorrow morning, do a little shopping at Bath and Body Works and then home to complete dinner. Not sure if I will have a chance to get back on or not. Have a Happy Easter, everyone!

Wow ! It does sound like you have been so busy ! I think it is so sweet that you still give your children Easter baskets. After all, they will always be your babies. Have a wonderful Easter, xoxoxxo
