good evening everyone...well first i would like to wish you guys a happy easter!!..this is the first time ive sat down all day...easter dinner is all sorted for tomorrow...soup all done.."carrot soup"..veg all prepared and the turkey crown is cooking as i speak...strawberry cheesecake all done...ive 13 guests tomorrow for dinner...time for me to chill out and have a well deserved glass of wine...HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!

If the hallmark store has a Jim Shore section, I'm in!!!!

We have a quaint little farm stand/store in my town that has a good size Jim Shore section. They also have Department 56, Yankee Candle, Kringle Candle, Possible Dreams. I love going there in the middle of summer getting fresh fruits and veggies and looking at the Christmas stuff.

except for a few dishes, my work is all done and I can just relax for the rest of the day!

For some reason, I am very tired today. SIL and I shopped for groceries right after we shopped for ourselves! We picked up some of the lemon meringue and key lime marshmallows and will make the rice krispies squares later. Then we will make the Mississippi Mud Cake and mix up the ingredients for the rolls. We are going to Mass in Fresno tomorrow morning, do a little shopping at Bath and Body Works and then home to complete dinner. Not sure if I will have a chance to get back on or not. Have a Happy Easter, everyone!

Happy Easter all!

Just a few minutes after midnight here in the eastern time zone, late night here. My homemade cranberry sauce is made, my roast is in the fridge, and the Easter Bunny has already made his visit. You know how hard it is to keep 5 cats away from the Easter Bunny? cheesy My boys are excited for his visit, we tend to keep it small, and let them enjoy their basket since both their birthdays are this time of year. Santa usually spoils them enough at Christmas.

I should probably head to sleep, it will be a busy day tomorrow.

Wow! It started pouring and thundering just now. What a strange way to welcome Easter! Good night and happy Easter to all. You are right, Xmas. We are ornaments on the same tree, LOL!

I still have yet to see that movie. I may not be much of a religious person, but I absolutely love religious history. Fact, like true stories of the people from the bible or how something came to be, or fiction like The DaVinci Code or Unholy Night. It just really piques my interest.

The Passion of The Christ really put things into perspective for me but it is VERY violent in portraying how Jesus was treated and definitely not for the faint hearted. I thought it was excellent but very sad that He went through all of that and for what ?? Humans ??

Another nice day yesterday with lots of sun, no precipitation and moderate temps that approached 70.
(Doesn't get much better than that for late March around these parts!)
Currently, we show 50 degrees here in the capital city, with a light rain falling.

Happy Easter, friends!

Foggy, here. There is a small shower moving in that will last a couple of hours, but after that we are in the mid 60's with sunshine. Today's schedule includes picking up the house, cleaning up Wifey's vehicle, eating at my Mom's, and other Easter festivities. Yesterday, we ate at Cracker Barrel and that was my first time to eat there. Not bad. Today, we will have Mom's crockpot ribs, which I think are the best.

I woke up this morning at 5:30 for some reason and I'm feeling the need to take a nap. I'm gonna go lay down and watch a little Sportscenter and see what happens from there.
