I think he said his name was OKCguy76 or possibly Okcguy1976...one of those. We were talking about different "cultures" (as in the Christmas culture, etc) and I mentioned I'm a member of a Christmas site and he asked if it was MMC. I was shocked to learn he was to, although I don't think he posts very often at all.

But, if you remember any posts or where his profile is, I'd love to see it. Thanks CM3! You're the best!

And, yes, you should give the Stooges another shot. They are the BEST!

Wayne never cared much for the Stooges but I love them! They do have an odd sense of humor, don't they? Wayne did watch some with me a few times and did get a chuckle so you never know, you just might like them! If you don't like them, that's okay too! =)

I think maybe I laugh so much because I think of my dad and I watching it together. Fun times!

I laugh so much at this scene of Dizzy Pilots. So dang stupid that it's funny (to me, anyway). I just could not imagine those 3 knuckleheads flying a plane!

You will either laugh or roll your eyes at it. (I won't be offended if you do roll your eyes). Heh heh!!

LOL... I can never get enough of those guys; what a scream.....:lol::lol:

I think its time I re-evaluate the Stooges and give them another chance. It's not that I dislike them, they usually just aren't ones I go to often. But, it's been probably a decade or more (!) since I've watches any Stooges, so I may need to give 'em another shot!

" Certainly, Whoop, Whoop, Whoop, Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk" !!!

I never made it back here to read over the forums yesterday. Wayne and I spent time together to watch Easter movies about Jesus. We had a great day up until I had to go to sleep!

I had a long restless night. Chico's heart was racing so much that I decided to sleep on the couch with him and keep a light on to check on him through the night. He seems really happy, alert and content but I could see his chest moving super fast with a rapid heart beat. If I got up he happily followed me around and never seemed like it bothered him but it bothered the crud out of me! If I dozed off I would jump up to check on him almost every half hour to check on him. He seems to be doing better this morning but will keep a watchful eye on him and get him to the vet.

I wish he could talk and tell me how he feels! I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for him.

I will be praying for Chico.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't roll my eyes at all, but laughed! That was very funny. I think I need to give them a shot. Are the Curly years the best years?

Hi all! Hope you all had a happy Easter!!! We are visiting some chicks at the farm in a bit, can't wait!!

I think they are. I also like it when Shemp was starring in them as well, he was funny in a different way than Curley but yet just as effective in getting you to bust a gut laughing...

I'm glad you laughed! They are a silly trio for sure!

Most people say the Curly years are the best. To me, Shemp and Curly are equally funny. They both have a different style but I find them both hilarious. "The Brideless Groom" episode is one of my favorites starring Shemp!

I didn't see your comment until I typed mine about Shemp. I guess we think somewhat the same! =)

I like Shemp's kinda "slow and duh" type thinking. If that makes sense?

I guess we need to carry this convo on over to the Vintage Film thread. Nyuk, Nyuk! :D

Hey Ryan...I see you found me. Can't believe how long it has been since I posted. If I posted often, I'd be considered an old-timer!

Hi Okcguy! Welcome to the Countdown!

You must be visiting my job! =)
Have fun!

The vintage film thread is always ready for new discussion!!!

We have tons of Disney tapes too, from when the girls were little. I also have my Little Rascals collection and lots of Christmas classics. Oh and so many sentimental videos from my girls dance recitals and cheerleading competitions and talent shows. I'm going to hold on to the VCR as long as I can too!

I agree - I am not giving up my VCR any too soon either ! xo

I have that one! This is a classic and I love to watch it every Christmas... The only sad part that I always have is thta no one in my household will watch it with me; sadly (sighhhh) I'm all alone when it comes to watching old B&W Christmas stuff.....:(

I know just how you feel !! My husband is NOT a Christmas nut at all. Getting him to watch anything with me is like pulling teeth.....I still enjoy watching it alone but it would be so much more enjoyable if I could share it with someone.....xo

The girls head back to school today. We always have a hard time getting back in to the swing of things after having off for a while. I don't have too much planned, maybe a trip to Target today. Then back home for daily chores. And I'm going to make a pot of chicken soup for dinner. My youngest has a cough that is lingering. She did have a cold but I'm hoping the construction in the kitchen isn't bothering her. She is allergic to dust so I'm sure it isn't helping. I'm doing the best I can cleaning the house. But I can clean and then turn around and there is another layer of dust, it's frustrating. I have an air purifier in her bedroom, not sure what else I can do. Have I mentioned that I can't wait until this kitchen is finished? lol
I hope everyone has a great day!

I hope your daughter's respiratory status gets better !! As someone who is an asthmatic I know what she is going through with that cough !!!

Just getting ready to turn in for the night. I took the final exam and got a 94%. I guess that's still an A. I wanted to do better but oh well.....
