Tomorrow the temps get up to mid 60 and Saturday in the 70's....I will be thinking of you!!

We are going to see those kind of temps next week. It will be raining though. :-?

I was out there earlier getting all of the gossip from my neighbor.

(He was also hinting around trying to find out why my friend keeps showing up)

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to the track meet yesterday to watch Jacob run his one event: the mile. I got tired just watching that. A few of the kids nearly sprinted the whole thing, but most were huffing and puffing when they reached the end.

Afterwards, we went with his best friend's family out to eat at Shane's Rib Shack. I had to give up pork, but they had the best grilled chicken sandwich I've had in a while! Another selling point at Shane's is that they offer several different flavors of tea. The Statesboro blend is soooo sweet, it's almost syrup. Blech. I can't take tea that's too sweet anymore. I now pour mine 3/4 un-sweet, 1/4 sweet. That's better!

Hello everyone. Well, work continues on my Saint Nicholas/Sant Claus capstone project. I am learning new things that are very interesting. For example: have any of you heard ofKrampus on Belsnickel? Man, those guys are freaky! Far removed from the Christmas legends that we know and love. There's a reason we don't tell kids about those guys any more. :-D If you don't know about 'em and hae spare time, look 'em up!

Ran to goodwill earlier to drop some stuff off and found the Celtic woman, Celtic thunder, and lonestar Christmas cd's. So I know what I'll be doing all night. Now I'm off to fix some dinner.

I learned all about the mother and daughter from brazil that live across the yard from us. We also figured out that the cute girl across the street moved out and that her mom has a new boyfriend.:lol:
