Good morning!
We have a very light rain falling this morning but it is supposed to clear up by this afternoon. Having a cup of coffee right now and I'm going to make a menu plan for next week and a grocery list. I would like to go the butcher today and then I'll do the rest of my food shopping tomorrow. I also have an appointment with my youngest daughters school counselor later. She will be a senior next year and we will be going over her schedule. I do not plan on doing anything else today, I still feel kind of yucky from this cold.

Good morning all my holiday folks. Today when I woke it was one of the most refreshed days Ive had in ages. So now looking forward till 5PM for the start the of weekend to hit. Decided to take the wife out tomorrow for a sweet Birthday day that starts first thing in the Morning with Breakfast in Bed and a small day trip to Alabama and than Dinner at this Brazilian Steak house she has been wanting to go to for ages.

Hello everyone. It's supposed to be 70 here and sunny today and a bit warmer tomorrow...can't beat that!
Our local amusement park opens next Saturday and I have bought season tickets. My daughter is five and is excited about riding a rollercoaster. But, I have to admit, I'm nervous to let her do it! Especially one that goes upside down, which is what she really wants to ride. It's all she's been talking about recently. She's a daredevil. I like riding them too, but my baby on them is a different story...

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here with a high near 60 degree's. It's still a bit chilly out right now but as soon as we hit 50 I'm going to crank the windows open and enjoy the weather. My big plans for today involve hiding from my friend and trying to organize my pantry. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Good morning, MMC!

I am sorry that I haven't been around much. I feel so out of the loop! I don't know what has been going on with anyone or how you all have been doing. Did everyone have a nice Easter? One holiday down means we're just getting closer to Christmas! I do feel really bad that I haven't been around. I miss everyone!

I have been so busy with college lately that it is just unreal. I would rather have a full-time job and work eight hours a day than deal with all of the work that I have right now. Typically I can handle a lot but it's crazy this month. I started a new class a month ago. This class only runs for half of the semester and it is supposed to be harder than any other class offered at my university. The class isn't horrible itself but the workload is so much. I have at least five assignments every week for that one class. My second class is also becoming very busy and I have three huge projects to complete by the end of April along with different assignments every week. Then I have my internship and it is keeping me very busy. I have to plan an enormous presentation, including a powerpoint, and present it to a board of staff members and professors at the end of the month. I haven't even had the time to start my presentation or the paperwork yet! The paperwork has to be approximately 25-30 pages. Lastly, and here is what I am mad about, my fourth class. In January, February, and March, I've only had eight assignments total. Now my professor is realizing that he doesn't have enough work in our gradebook. That led him to give us eight assignments in the next three weeks. Five of them are presentations! The last time I counted, which was sometime yesterday, I had over thirty assignments to do in just under three weeks. Sorry for the rant, but it's safe to say that I won't be having a social life for the next month. This is why I do not like April!

I think we all know what I will be spending my weekend doing! Does anyone have anything fun planned? At least the weather seems to be improving - hopefully we're all done with winter and onto some warmer weather! I feel like I've had 6-7 months of winter here!

As I have said, I am way out of the loop....but reading "hiding from my friend" LOL!! Is he one of those people that doesn't stop talking once you get around them? I have to act that way with my neighbor. If she sees me outside she rambles for over an hour or two while I'm standing there wishing that someone will save me.

Last night before I went to bed, I got the umbrella out for my deck. Tomorrow, there will be plenty of sitting, drinking coffee, and watching martins.

Wow, it's understandable you haven't had time to stop by...your college work load sounds Huge.I can see why you feel overwhelmed.

When it gets to be too much, take a break & do something fun- check in here, go out with your family or friends, to give your brain a rest. Once you're refreshed, dive back in.

Good morning, MMC family! How are you all? I am well. Work actually called me last night and wanted to know if I wanted to be on-call, which meaning I didn't need to go into work unless they called me (I am sure probably you guys figured that out!) That place goes from one extreme to another! Anyway, I jumped on and got another night at home with the family.

Nothing really going on at home here today. I am going to do some sweeping and put chicken noodle soup in the crockpot for dinner, but other than that, nothing else really. DH is working, so the kids are at preschool/daycare.

How is everyone's day going so far? I hope it is going well! It's still chilly here - 44F and the high is only supposed to get to 47F. :cold: I will be happy with 70's! I know most of you are laughing at me, but I would rather live with Bradmac! Warmer weather is my dream!

It's cool & overcast here this morning, but it's supposed to be sunny and 70 tomorrow, and on up into the 80's next week. Nice!

My brother says we might crank the Camaro this weekend! We're going to at least put the engine and transmission in, and see how far we can get. fun, fun!

Nancy and I are planning a date night tomorrow night. It's been a long time since we went out alone. I bet she still won't want to see Evil Dead, though. :wink:

I've heard Evil Dead is pretty gory...if that bothers you. Have you seen the original? I like Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness the best because they are almost more comedies than horror movies. Can't beat Bruce Campbell, in my opinion.
I think I'll probably skip this new one...may be a bit hard to watch! You're braver than I am :lol:.

Oh my, you guys are alot stronger than me with those kind of movies, I'm a big wimp and shudder to think even watching any of those kind of movies. I'd have nightmares for weeks....:scarykitty: (I'm a tough guy on the outside but a big soft marshmallow on the inside)! lol
