Here's the recipe I told y'all about this weekend.

Italian Crescent Rolls Casserole
(This recipe can be doubled)

1 lb. ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
½ envelope McCormick or Schilling Spaghetti Sauce mix
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese or Monterey Jack cheese
8-oz can tomato sauce
½ cup sour cream
8-oz. can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1/3 cup Kraft Grated Parmesan cheese
2 T. butter, melted
Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a frying pan, brown the ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in sauce mix and tomato sauce and heat until hot and bubbly. Combine cheese and sour cream. Pour hot meat mixture into ungreased 12 X 8-in. or 13 X 9-in. baking dish. Spoon cheese mixture over meat. Separate crescent dough into two rectangles. Place the rectangles over the cheese mixture. Combine Parmesan cheese and butter; crumble evenly over dough. Bake for 18-25 minutes, until deep golden brown. Cut and serve.

Thanks for sharing!!

It sounds delicious!! =)

Hello everyone. Just saw that Louann is now listed as "MMC Christmas Angel," and I think that's very fitting.

I couldn't agree more!!

Beautiful idea! xx

Well I was enjoying my afternoon by sitting outside with my neighbor until he got up and tripped and went shoulder first into the sidewalk. From the pain he is describing, I'm pretty sure that he cracked a couple of ribs and most likely broke his collar bone. He refuses to go to the ER though. At least for now. The next time he goes to use the bathroom or take his shirt off, he may change his mind.

Oh no. Hope he'll be ok. I'll keep him in my prayers!

Thank you so much, Snowflake! Perhaps Louann can pass on the word to the real Saint Nicholas!

Sounds painful! Hope he's okay.

This isn't the same fellow you want to hit with the frying pan, is it? If so, you didn't trip him did you?!

Hahaha!! I choked on my water when I read that one ;)

Oh, Christmas family. I am in tears right now. The mailman just delivered me a package from Louann. She mailed it the day before she died. I will type more later, but right now I can hardly see the screen.

How sweet of her!! That is so Louann!!

Good morning everyone.

I have been absent a bit again. I apologize. Glad to see an outpouring of support for Louann. I haven't said it in this thread yet, but she'll be missed. There's a reason why the Countdown is in the Christmas Together section of MMC. We're in this together - like family. Together, we'll share the wonderful moments and remember those moments of the past as we countdown to the greatest time of the year.

For me, not much has changed. I'm still rehabbing my knee. It could be ready in a few weeks. I'm anxious. The snow is melting, weather is warming and soon the trees will be budding. We're nearly a month behind in Ottawa. Hopefully the forecast continues to improve... although it appears as if we may not see double digits until early next week.

I am going to try to be more active on MMC this month. I've just been real busy with work and searching for a stable job. My current job ends again mid-May and I will be very disappointed if I cannot find full-time employment as soon as my contract ends here. All I can do is keep trying. Again, it is quite a shame when someone with eight years of post-secondary education cannot find a position anywhere. Still, things could be worse.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday. We're nearing another great visit to the 'Pines!
nice to see you back again! Sounds like you will soon be whole again.
Hope you soon find a good job!

I love reading posts like this.

They make me miss my Dad even more. He truly is one of my best friends.

And my Dad thought just like you two, he would point out his guns hanging on the gun rack at our house when a boy would come over!! ;)

Adrian & I are taking a trip to see both of our families this weekend. Can't wait!

I laughed when I read this because my dad was an avid hunter and had several guns that he would clean on Saturdays! Must be a tradition or something! LOL

The Good Witch & The Good Witch's Garden are also on Hallmark Movie Channel tonight!

Louann loved those movie, too =)

I have a question. I hear about the Pines all the time, and I know the history of the Pines (thanks for the wonderful thread by Christmas-a-holic). But, where is the Pines? Do you all just meet in this thread on Wednesday nights? I'm usually at church on Wednesday nights so have never been able to stop by, but a trip to the Pines this week might be a good idea.
