Well I was enjoying my afternoon by sitting outside with my neighbor until he got up and tripped and went shoulder first into the sidewalk. From the pain he is describing, I'm pretty sure that he cracked a couple of ribs and most likely broke his collar bone. He refuses to go to the ER though. At least for now. The next time he goes to use the bathroom or take his shirt off, he may change his mind.

I hope he will be okay.

Oh, Christmas family. I am in tears right now. The mailman just delivered me a package from Louann. She mailed it the day before she died. I will type more later, but right now I can hardly see the screen.

They are on tomorrow afternoon, too. The channel is part of the free preview this month. When I saw that they were going to be on I thought of Louann right away - I rearranged my schedule so I could at least listen to them tomorrow. cheesy

OMGOODNESS y'all, Seth's b-day cake turned into a hot mess!!!! Star, where are you???

found a recipe for a strawberry cake on Pinterest. tried doing 4 layers. 2 of the layers tore up in the pans. tried to piece them as I was icing it. the icing had coolwhip in it....a runny mess. Yes the cakes were completely cool & yes, the icing was very cold, I double checked.
Anyhoo, Seth now has 2 cakes, 1 layer & goo in 1 container & 1 layer & goo in the other container. I cried!!!!!!! dried my tears, cleaned up my mess & when he came in from class I told him about it, he said, " Mama, you know I don't care what it looks like as long as it tastes good!" God bless that saweet baby boy of mine cause it sure ain't looking pretty!

Spoon cakes are great - and actually are quite a lot of fun to eat. cheesy

I'm doing all right - thank you for asking! Mouse is snoring by my side - she has been very attentive the past few days - the sweetie! When I got home today, Palmer flew out of the bathroom and hid under my bed for an hour - poor girl was petrified. I'm not sure what scared her, but she is doing fine now.

How are you doing?

I'm rather concerned about this upcoming mess we have headed our way. If there is much more rain, my basement is going to flood. The seasonal creek has already overflowed - getting messy out back! Really hope there isn't any ice, too. Are you prepared? Stay safe!

We had quite the series of thunderstorms roll through here earlier - knocked out my internet again. Palmer was watching from the windowsill for a bit. I have been using tap-a-talk for sometime now and it is great! My problem now is that I cannot post from there. I can read all the posts no problem, but for some reason it will not let me post anything.
Does anyone here know how I can fix this?

Wish I could give advice, I just got tapatalk recently when I got the new phone. No problems yet. I hope someone can help you figure it out.

That makes such a mess. My parents basement had some water coming in while they were in AZ, we think it was melting snow seeping in. My sister had to move all of their stuff in the utility room, and clean it up often. It molded pretty quick, so they've been cleaning it up with bleach & whatnot. Ugh.

We are as prepared as we can be, I guess :/ It's supposed to start for us overnight, and last through Friday. They're saying snow, rain, sleet, icy roads, and possible power outages. I sure hope it's not that bad.

And we're supposed to drive down to see our parents this weekend..I hope we don't have to cancel.

Hi everyone. It was beautiful out today but it was actually a little too warm for me. I put the air conditioner on this afternoon, the house was getting so hot. At one point I looked at Molly and the poor thing was panting from the heat. So I turned the air on for her, lol. Its going to be warm again tomorrow but the temps will start to go down on Thursday. I feel like we went from 40 degrees to 80 in a couple of days!

I haven't had that but based on other problems I've had with it, I would delete your MMC account off of Tapatalk and then resign into it again.

I can post from mine, but cannot find how to switch between threads (mine is always on this thread, which is where I'm at most of the time, but sometimes I want to see the other threads on MMC and can't figure out how).

Sounds like a glitch with yours, though. What tablet are you running it on?

Your back arrow should let you back out to the list of new posts. If it's not then you may have to take a more drastic measure than what I suggested to star and uninstall Tap a talk and then reinstall it.
