Good Thursday afternoon everyone. Hope all stay safe from the storms in the midwest. Not much going on here. High School baseball is back after last week's spring break. We lost Tuesday and play again Friday.

I believe I said before, my son a HS junior, plays and has covered high school baseball for our weekly newspaper for the last 3 years. Since there were no games last week, he was asked to write about how the county's middle school baseball team's season was going. Our newspaper is now partially available online so please excuse me for boasting but here is a link to his latest article;

What a great opportunity for your son - he will learn so much on the job and it will look great on his resume. Congratulations to him!

Holy Moly!!! The folks at Weinstein & Company just informed me that they confirmed a sit down interview for me with DAVID LETTERMAN on Monday June 10th with a possible performance afterwards to promote TWENTY FEET FROM STARDOM!!!! This will be my first time EVER sitting on the couch with Dave and as you all know I've appeared on his show for 26 years in a row singing "(Christmas Baby) Please Come Home". I'm actually a lil nervous but VERY excited and it's not even Christmas!!!! LOL

Back from my sister's and my niece's birthday party. It was a long but fun day. I think my niece enjoyed her self. She got up at 6am this morning and refused to take a nap, so she was a little grumpy. She also didn't like clothes as gifts. My mom got her a dress and when she started opening the package and saw it was clothes, she threw it across the room. Then she got in trouble for not being appreciative. Oh and for some reason, she swore that she was going to have an easter egg hunt as part of her birthday. So the Birthday Bunny came by and dropped off some eggs in the yard.

We got close to 2 and a half here and the west side of Indy got close to 4. There is some major flooding on the north west side of Indy.

Made, it might not have been funny at the time but the story about your niece throwing the clothes across the room made me laugh. Sounds like you had a fun day!

Good Morning my friends.......it seems to become a habit that my best friend and I are chilling each Saturday with a couple of beers, good food and many laughs.....The kids were running around like crazy....it was four of em....Kandice, my goddaughter and niece Sarah, my nephew Fabian, and my goddaughter Kimberly...because my brother and sister in law came up to my place too.....so the kids were in one room, dancing and singin....and we were in the family room....playing Jenga and stuff like that....t´was fun

Here's a good way to get off to a great start:
Days to the Season: 206
Days to Christmas Day: 248
Now under one lone week left until the 200-day Season Milestone arrives.
And a scant five days remain until we reach the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
(Two Milestones for the price of one. Can't beat that!)

Noticeably cooler yesterday with a rather damp start.
Should be nice a dry one today but still coolish.
We stand at 45 degrees here, currently.
