Good afternoon, MMC!

I hope all is well with everyone! We have no power and the basement is flooded - not as good of a situation as I hoped to be in at this time. The furnace, hot water heater and water pump are all fine - just a big mess down there. Oh, well - nothing I can do about it until power is restored.

My kids are beating the snot out of each other and my wife is watching Teen Mom 2.

The kids beating each other up is normal brother behavior, but watching Teen mom 2 is not normal for anyone.

Hello everyone. I hope you all have a great Saturday. This weekend, at night (when the kids go to bed) I'll be busy finishing up some stuff for school...only three weeks left! I'm trying to finish early so I can be done. I'm looking forward to this summer. Most looking forward to reading books I want to read and not what is assigned to read! I've got a whole summer book list already made.

My wife is finishing her master's degree, and is taking her test this morning for library certification. I know she'll do good but she's worried about it. She wants to go back to teaching, but as a media specialist and not as teacher as she was before she stayed home with the kids. Both kids will be in school all day next year, so she's looking to go back.

I'll stop rambling and just say I hope all is well and that you all have a good weekend!

Hey everyone! it's been a great day here. The weather is amazing last night it got down to 47F and today was sunny blue skies and in the 60's. Now that is normal spring weather..not that muggy 80's we had yesterday before the rains and front came though. Anyway we are all staying in tonight with my sister and having some friends over to play cards which is our Saturday night thing now. Have a great evening everyone!

Not yet but now they are talking 3 more inches over the next two days.

I hope you didn't get all that rain! We didn't get a whole lot, but with how saturated the ground already was it was enough. It is very green out here now!

Not much going on here in northern California today. We went to a funeral yesterday for an 87 year old friend. We enjoyed a good lunch and reminisced for a while. There is one more this weekend for a nice man who died of brain cancer. I hope there are no more after that! That will be the fourth death in the last week and a half.

Not many plans for tonight. I think I may have popcorn for dinner. I am not really hungry. We also have enough leftovers in there, so I don't really have to cook. I think I might go eat now; my stomach is growling. TTYL

Thunder here all afternoon as well. We're holding our breath for the next couple of days that we won't have severe flooding. We've been asked to reduce our water usage to keep the sewers from backing up.
