Good Morning, 'Piners.

Ah!
Indeed!
Open house day at the old S.P.
Last one in April.

But first, this:
Days to the Season: 203
Days to Christmas Day: 245
Well, just look.
Day after tomorrow -- the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone arrives.
Then, the 200-day Season Window.
Almost double-milestone time!

And.....I'll miss the second one!

Yes, it's the first cottage preparation weekend of the pending rental season and I'll need a countdown volunteer for this Saturday's and Sunday's posts.
Not much pay (in fact, nothing) but a chance to participate in history!
An opportunity for one of our volunteers to post for the 200-day Season Window on Saturday.
(Who will it be??)

Warmer weather expected for today and our high could reach close to 80.
We are at 50 right now.

You have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
(Carl and crew are waiting for you.)

We should really stop posting Goodnight at the same time. People are going to start thinking things!!!!!

LOL!!!

You're funny!!! =]

Good evening,

The clouds never opened up, sat and froze during baseball practice. My son was complaining about his hands hurting while batting, because of the vibrations of the bat. I made my snickerdoodles, and then made homemade calzones for dinner, (my wife's favorite) to say the least I am stuffed tonight, but those Nerds keep popping back in my head for some reason. cheesy Watching the Bruins lose badly, Red Sox are even worse.

Have a good night everyone!!!

I bet if you got him a batters glove he would be "big man" dad!

Finally, after three or four days, I'm all caught up. This is the busiest time of year for me...I'm only home about 10 or 15 nights the next month and a half. There are banquets, ballgames, and all kinds of other events.

Rain moving in tonight and about supposed to be about a 20 degree swing in weather, so it's going to be colder tomorrow...

So, I've been looking at the Hallmark Ornament Dreambook....I'm stoked about this year...even more so than in the past....what's yall thoughts?

Speaking of collections, my mother is going to let me have our Department 56 North Pole Collection.....when i say ours, I mean that I have bought her about 50 of her 125 houses....thinking about building a prop that will store them....anyone else have something built for their houses??? I'm looking for ideas...

what an awesome gift from ur Mom! jackpot!

Triple????? We haven't had triple coupons here in years!!!!! Now I'm jealous.

only happens here like 1 or 2x a year.

I'm going to need a lot of ugly christmas sweaters.

wouldn't it be so cool?

Haha!!

I've never been to one of those parties, but would love to!! It would be a hoot!!

yeah that would be fun Snow!

I let my imagination run away for a little on this.......hmmm what a lovely thought. It would be a bit like the movie Snowglobe.......

Love it!

I can see it now! it would be just like that Festivespirit!

Ryan... good luck with your job app

Mgramsey, Enjoy the tour on saturday with Ethan.

Sugar..Why dont you get both that way you have a choice if needed

Snowflake...Hope the wee dog was catch and is safe. i wood have been worried to about it getting hit with a car. and i might of had a few picked words for the hubby. cant figure why it did not come for a treat maybe just cause it was scared or does not know what a treat is. Sometimes when a dog gets out it will run round the place for long enough.

I'm not sure, my friend. I will keep an eye out for him today, especially when I take Har for her morning walk. Please keep him in your prayers. xx

Good morning everyone! and I noticed @crown's post their weather is basically the same as ours and they are in NC which is way north of me in very southern Ga. I know NC has beaches, piedmont, and then western NC has tons of mountains that get about 90 inches of snow each year...I just noticed it's such a diverse state! hehe...just an observation..

I just got caught up at work and am about to eat Breakfast at the Burger King on base just down the sidewalk here..I love their breakfast menu.. the weather here is 53F right now it feels so good, but the high it going to be 84F so it's warming up during the days..I wonder when we will hit 90F! Otherwise it's a pretty good morning...the weekend is now in sight and we are so close to the 200 day mark to the season! We are making progress folks! Well I better go eat...have a great morning everyone!!

As usual I loved catching up on the posts and reading about what everyone is up to.

I notice some of you can reply to multiple quotes in one post. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this?

Grey, humid and rainy here today. I can't believe we are almost in May!
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning!!

Just like gabulldawg said, you just hit multi button at bottom of each post you want to quote. And when you're all set, click post reply & they should all be in there :)

Good luck!

Only exception is that I haven't found a way to do that from my iPhone on Tapatalk..

Hope you have a wonderful day, Festive Spitit!!

Hey Shelliegirl!!!
ok, coupons are printed in a paper circular. many, many manufacturers have "instant rebate" on products they offer. most are food & personal care products. They are in our Sunday papers. I buy about 10 papers per Sunday for the coupon inserts, cut them all out, keep them in a notebook w/ baseball card holders, match the coupons w/ what the grocers have on sale each week. I do not buy much w/out coupons & sales together. when I said tripled up to $.99 that means, a manufacturer coupon is for $.75 off bread, since it's under $.99 the coupon will triple to $2.25 ($.75x3), the bread costs $2.49 on sale, I only pay $.24 for it. I am hoping to get several freebies today also.

I hope this makes sense to you. I'm not good @ explaining w/out being accompanied by illustration, lol.

love you girl, have a fabulous day!

HmG, I hope you enjoy your day & I'm so happy your daughter will be able to get her phone fixed. enjoy the sunshine there!

ok y'all, I'll be back later. love you all very much!

Is the volunteer required for both Saturday and Sunday? Or does the cottage only take one day to prepare for the summer season?

Either way, Crown, I will offer my services to volunteer.

Another day, another dollar...Or there abouts...I had another fire last night...I feel the weather warming so I want to get as many in before it warms up...I spent the better part of last night fighting with electronics that advertise all these great features but you need to be an engineer to figure them all out...I get so frustrated...My wife won't even sit in the room with me while I'm doing things like this...I gotta learn to calm down...Airplay...that's what I want to do, and it won't work...everything else does though and the sound is incredible!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone!

Happy 'Pines Day! Midweek is only a few hours away. As always, it is difficult to believe that time moves by so quickly. At the time of our next 'Pines Day, we will be welcoming a new month and ready for May flowers to bloom!

I'm a little sore today. I had a nice run on the treadmill as I continue to rehab. I have another run today and then therapy tomorrow. I have said this a lot before, but I really hope this is my last visit. In my opinion, I am going to have to either get an injection and/or physiotherapy sometime next week. I believe there is something in my knee that active release therapy cannot repair.... but I am not a medical expert. Summer is coming and I am really hoping to be ready to go by mid-June but that seems as if it could be pushed back all the way to mid-July. Quite disappointing, but there isn't much I can do...

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Wednesday. Great to see the "open" sign on the 'Pines once again!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went with the family to nearby Statesboro yesterday afternoon to take Jacob to his guitar lessons. Then we went to Wal-Mart for an hour...ugh.

After that, we picked up some dinner to take home. Bourbon chicken (which doesn't have actual bourbon in it) is really good stuff. Nancy made fun of me because I like to eat stuff like that with chop sticks. It makes me eat slower so I can't just shovel it in like I do with a fork. I had enough leftover for lunch today. Win!

The kids have to accrue 25 hours per year of community service (usually help with needy, church functions, etc.) while in HS to move on to the next grade, and Jacob is 7 hour short. So the City of Bellville is working him this week. He's picking up trash by the road, and running a weed-eater. That'll teach him to wait till the last minute!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

It may need a miracle! Thank you.

Wet morning here.
Only way I can type right now is to use tapatalk, so glad I have it!
My lap top likes the letter "k" and types it constantly!
Will pick up a better keyboard today after work.
This is reason I am not replying to posts right now, reading them all so I can keep up with the news!

Hope you get sorted with a keyboard ~}

HIya back yip think i got that like money of coupons, can they be used even if the item is on a sale price as well
And am shocked at th e price of a bread. that sounds really expensive. over here a loaf of bread is from 99p to £1.20 .
Does it not cost a lot to buy 10 newpapers. what am trying to say is by the time you buy the papers to get the coupons does it still make it worth while

Hello everyone. Things are going good here, but I'm ready for the weekend! This is a very busy week.
We may head to our local amusement park Saturday for our second trip of the season. We used our season passes on opening day several weeks ago and the place was packed! My daughter rode her first rollercoaster and she loved it! She wants one that goes upside down. So, we may try to go back this Saturday. My son loves the rides that spin around, so I'll spend a good protion of the day very dizzy!
Anyway, I'm already looking toward the weekend! Hope you all have a good Wednesday!
