Good evening, friends~

I was going to take Har for a walk, and Adrian was looking out of our big front window, and he said you better go around the back way because there's a loose Pug out there. He was darting in front of cars, and running away from people trying to "catch" him. We didn't want to make the situation worse, so I decided to wait. Adrian & I grabbed some treats & went out to help. The owners of the Pug, whose name we found out is Wiggles, didn't seem all that concerned :/ More annoyed than anything, which bothered me. He wouldn't come near them, either. Not really a good sign... The lady said he is scared & won't come when called. He wasn't even interested in the treats. So, after about twenty unsuccessful minutes, the husband decided to drive the car slowly, with the wife & daughter walking behind, in hope that Wiggles would just follow. He started to, and got out of our vision, so we headed back home. I took Har out for her walk, but decided to just stay near our block, because I didn't want to distract them if we ran into them again. Well, Har & I were walking near the pond, and I saw him running around it still. Looked to be alone.
I can't see him anymore now, and am not sure he is home safe either. Oh, and he didn't have tags... Please keep this sweet dog in your prayers. I just hate situations like this. Thanks.

I don't know, merry... I was nauseous while I was out there, I was more upset than they were... I was scared he was going to get hit by a car here in our neighborhood, or run towards the highway. At first, it was just 3 little girls chasing him. Then, as I was walking up, one of the girl's parents drove up, and it was their dog.

The husband was a jerk. He told the wife in front of all of us trying to help, that he wasn't going to get out of the car...

There's sidewalks all around the neighborhood! For us to walk, and for our pets. Not sure how he got loose. But, he should've had tags & a leash on. Not only is there a leash law, there's also that rule to live in this neighborhood. Grrr...

You're right, some people just shouldn't have pets!!

Thanks! I play on the air base team..Around here we mostly play churches..but also play other teams in the adult YMCA programs. I think this year may be my last though...my knees are bad..and I'm pushing 40!!!

Brandi also had a meeting after work,so we had to hire a sitter to go get the boys from day care to sit at our house for a few hours..but yeah she is having a much better day today!

And yes..snowball and KYLEE (lol) are doing great,I just gave them some of my chicken wings behind brandi's back!!! I know that is wrong but they love them so much. I hope you are doing great as well..this has been such a rough month for all of us here..from losing Louann to the Boston bombings..I hope things calm down before we move into summer and fall!!

Haha!! Adrian hates when I give Harlowe table food, too! But I still do it anyways ,sometimes

I love Laffy Taffy, I avoid the banana flavor though. I haven't seen Runts or Bottlecaps in forever.

I always find the Runts and Bottlecaps when the Halloween candy is out. They come in those little fun size bags. I stock up on them!

These situations make me both sad and angry. Snowflake I am just like you, I get very emotional when it comes to animals. There have been several times that I have chased after loose dogs. Sending up a prayer for Wiggles. xo

FYI, I have to post small replies. something wrong w/ something some where...

I have a customer, Susan, her daughter was killed 3 yrs. ago @ 15 in a car accident. I am the only 1 she wants to do her flowers. there's several others I will miss terribly. I will go visit the shop later just can't for now, to hard i think.

The clouds never opened up, sat and froze during baseball practice. My son was complaining about his hands hurting while batting, because of the vibrations of the bat. I made my snickerdoodles, and then made homemade calzones for dinner, (my wife's favorite) to say the least I am stuffed tonight, but those Nerds keep popping back in my head for some reason. cheesy Watching the Bruins lose badly, Red Sox are even worse.

Finally, after three or four days, I'm all caught up. This is the busiest time of year for me...I'm only home about 10 or 15 nights the next month and a half. There are banquets, ballgames, and all kinds of other events.

Rain moving in tonight and about supposed to be about a 20 degree swing in weather, so it's going to be colder tomorrow...

So, I've been looking at the Hallmark Ornament Dreambook....I'm stoked about this year...even more so than in the past....what's yall thoughts?

Speaking of collections, my mother is going to let me have our Department 56 North Pole Collection.....when i say ours, I mean that I have bought her about 50 of her 125 houses....thinking about building a prop that will store them....anyone else have something built for their houses??? I'm looking for ideas...

Wow, you've got quite a village! I bet it is beautiful!

We collect one, too. And have a lot of pieces, also. We truly realized that when we moved. We haven't built anything for them, that would be ideal. But, we use our utility room & a storage
cubby under the stairs to keep them.
Adrian went to Home Depot & bought a few of those shelving systems, that you might put in your garage & put them together. I'd say about 90 % of them are on those. When we display the village, we use those craft/card tables (that you can fold up or down). Adrian has put together some different levels of craft like styrofoam (for artificial floral displays, that you can by at stores like Michael's) to make hills and whatnot for the houses. As it gets closer, we should share ideas!!
