Hello all. I haven't been on here these last few days as much as I would like to be as work has been busy. But, has anyone heard from Seawaters? I noticed I haven't seen her post today and can't remember if she was here yesterday. Just checking up.

The girl didn't know. She had to wait on the radiologist in the morning.

Well I'm home now. Mom was doing okay when I left. Earlier she was having a problem with her face drooping on the right side and her mouth not closing. It was back to normal when I left though. She said it was still numb though. The doctor should be there between 9 and 10 in the morning and we will see what the tests show and where they want to go from there. I'm just happy that they are actually looking for a problem this time instead of telling her to just start taking an aspirin everyday.

Glad you had a nice visit with your mum. I know that feeling you had when your mum left for home. It is almost the same as a death in the way you miss your loved ones after having been with them so long. Take care of yourself.

Everything ok with me. My mum has been visiting for the last month. She returned home on Sunday so I am trying to adjust to not having her around Feeling very sad at the moment but I know I will be back into things in a few days.

homemakingirl, my daughter is also looking for a job. I do wish your daughter the best. I hope it's something she really enjoys. My daughter needs it as she is not 1 to stay still @ all & it will give her $ for all the things she wants.

Hi everyone, it's been at least 5 days since I checked in. I'm home recovering from knee surgery, everything seems to be going as expected. I'm on crutches right now with this big brace on my knee. They cut out the torn mincus out and repaired a tendon as well, and did a rotor-roter job on the knee to boot. I'll be trying to check in here every once in awhile untill I can manage the stairs a little bit better (a little hard to do with the crutches right now), I'm hoping that by the end of the week, that I will be using just a cane or something. I happy that it's over with and that when it heals, I'll be good as new!cheesy

I hope everything is feeling better and healing quickly, enjoy the time off.

A lot of numbness on right side again today, but not as bad as last time.

Well I took a 5 hour nap..I woke up at 930 pm and thought it was time for me to get up in the morning. I got as far as brushing my teeth and then getting my uniform out when I was told it was night time. So I got back in the bed and here I am! My legs are throbbing and this is why I can't play baseball next year. I am getting too old. I already need 2 knee replacements my Dr said. From playing fgootball all through high school it has damaged my knees. I am trying to wait as long as possible since new technology is always coming around as far as knee replacememt goes. Well I hope everyone has a good night...we are 8 months away from xmas eve~!!!

Hello everyone!
I am getting ready to put dinner on the table soon. My oldest got called in to work early today so we couldn't go and have her phone fixed. She's working again tomorrow, not sure if she will have time or not. We'll get there sooner or later, at least the phone is still working. I took my youngest out to look for a job again this afternoon and Haagen Dazs hired her on the spot. They told her to come in Friday after school at 3:00. I'm so relieved that she found something!
I hope everyone is having a great day. I have to go boil raviolis for dinner, be back later.

Congrats to your daughter getting the job, if I got a job at Haagen Dazs, I probably wouldn't last more than a week. I would get fired for eating all the ice cream. cheesy

What up My MC homies?! getting the evening off from cooking tonight. We are having leftovers, Yaay me!

my coupon trip did not go as planned. saved $ but not as much as I could have if the grocers had not integrated a new clause in their coupon policy. I was sure to read it all last night but when I got to the check out, I had 3 transactions. my aunt was w/ me & I had 2 transactions in my cart. anyhoo, even though I had another discount card they wouldn't let me use it. you should have seen my aunt & I trying to go through & figure out what to get & what not to get. It was my b-i-l's discount card but they still didn't let me use it. I guess next time I need to have that 3rd person w/ me. probably won't go back though due to all the restrictions & it's 30 miles away!

gotta call from doc today, all my labs were normal. that's great but that means there's something the labs didn't find. going to rhuematologist (spelling?) on May 22. said they will try to find out if this is Fibromyalgia (spelling?). kinda discouraging, I don't know if it's worse to get a diagnosis from blood work or if it's better to find out later. Just want this over!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so cool when a kid knows what he wants and goes for it! I knew in third grade what I wanted to do with my life. I never wavered in that dream and was blessed with my education, obtaining an AA degree, a BS degree, a Masters Degree, and working on a doctorate. My thoughts and prayers go with him.

Good Tuesday morning everyone. Woke to a nice 39 degrees this morning and expecting a high of 68. I wish it would stay this way through the summer.

Leaving work at 3:30 today to go to my son's high school baseball game. We only have 7 games left then the state tournament, if we qualify. We have have quite a few snow days to make up so school is now extended to May 30. I hate to see this school year end since he will be a senior next year.

Saturday we are visiting Gardner Webb University for "junior day". It is a 1/2 day of scheduled meetings and tours for high school juniors who are looking to attend the college. Ethan thinks that is where he wants to go and major in Journalism. It is a Christian university so we are happy about that but I'm sure I will have a lump in my throat all day just thinking about him leaving.
