It's a brisk morning in Ottawa. I'd say not as brisk as it will be in approximately eight months from now... Speaking of being exactly eight months away... Happy Rudolph Day! It's already the 25th of April. Hard to believe it has been four months since we all gathered around our beautiful Christmas Trees with family and loved ones. Let's continue making 2013 just as - or even more - memorable than 2012!

The extended forecast in Ottawa is getting me very excited. Temperatures are to be moving into the 20s (70s) on Monday. It may have been a little later than usual, but Spring weather will be here! Speaking of next week, I spoke with my dad yesterday and he's planning to visit the beginning of May. His visiting usually coincides with my birthday (April 30th), but he was asked to work a couple shifts at the Steel Plant (where he retired from a few years ago). It's good that he still has the option to go back to work whenever he wants or is asked. Anyway, I'm excited for his visit. I have not seen him - or any member of my family - since Christmas Holidays!

I have some therapy today. I am hoping that it goes well. Perhaps my doctor will be able to give me a bit more insight on whether it is indeed my knee or IT Band that is the current issue. I don't know which I am hoping for! We shall see. As for tonight, no plans, really. Hopefully we'll just sit around and watch the Bruins game.

I hope everyone enjoyed the 'Pines yesterday. Carl really let it all out for the final time this month. He knows how to throw a party! Can't wait to see what he has in store the beginning of May! Have a great Thursday!

we are going to warm up here in SW Ontario too in the next few days, much better than the snow we had yesterday. Have a great visit with your dad.

getting my hair cut today too, I am starting to look like a mini haystack!
 
Good morning! I just ate breakfast at this new place...well it was take out because we are at work...but the buscuits stank..I mean it is very rare that I complain about food,I love everything and eat almost everything. but it was really bad...I had steak egg and cheese biscuit...well I am going to stick to Hardees or burger king or even MC'd's breakfast burrito(all I like from their breakfast menu)Anyways

In other news me and Brandi are watching this trial on Courttv well it's called(trutv now) and we are betting on a verdict...isn't that terrible...we have been dvr'n this stupid trial for 3 or 4 months and it's almost over...the point is we never have been hooked on anything before on tv we have differing opinions on a lot of stuff and how this particular trial should come to an end. If she wins I have to take her to Atlanta for the weekend and stay at the downtown Westin hotel and then go to all the sightseeing places there like the Georgia aquarium and all the other stuff downtown that I have seen a million times since I grew up in Atlanta. If I win we are going to Ft. Lauderdale..that is one place I have not been,I have been all over south Florida but not there and I hear they have a lot of canals all through the town stuff like that is interesting to me...Hey I got to get back to work... One of Elizabeth's dance recitals is this weekend, so they are meeting a few times this week. Once again, my family is heading out in different directions all week. Oh well. She loves to dance.

I have a big city council meeting to prepare for, so this will give me some time for that.

Quick update- Now they are saying it wasn't a stroke yesterday for mom. The mri came back clear expect for the spot from the first stroke. The Doppler study on the veins in her neck was also good. So now we are waiting on them to do the echo cardiogram and for the doctor to come back in around noon.
