Quick update- Now they are saying it wasn't a stroke yesterday for mom. The mri came back clear expect for the spot from the first stroke. The Doppler study on the veins in her neck was also good. So now we are waiting on them to do the echo cardiogram and for the doctor to come back in around noon.

Good morning!
Just got back from walking the dogs. Its chilly out, still wearing my winter coat every morning. It was raining when I woke up but it already passed. It will be partly sunny today with temperatures in the upper 50's. I am going to have my hair cut and colored in a little while. My hairdresser better be there today! I also have to stop at the supermarket for something later, I feel like I'm in there every day. Not too much else going on.

(((HUGS)))) we all felt the same when we heard the news. It is still hard to believe she is no longer with us.

I thought about her last night & I thought about her on my walk this morning. It's kind of odd that somone I never met can leave such sadness in my heart. One of us is missing & I don't like it! We shall continue to celebrate Christmas all year round for (and with) her. That's the way she would want it!

In fact, you might only see my thanks for several days because of all the organization I have to do. Whoever said that people are busier retired than when they worked is spot on!!! I mean it! I did slack off yesterday and took a long nap when I should have been working on all my scrapbooking stuff. But I do have a plan; it is just taking me time to get it done!

Made, thanks for the update on your mom. When Hubby and I went to Chico on Monday, I went in to the Dollar Tree and bought some aspirin to carry in my purse. I had been meaning to do that, but kept forgetting. I don't have heart problems, but some family members do. Better safe than sorry!

Well I'm home now. Mom was doing okay when I left. Earlier she was having a problem with her face drooping on the right side and her mouth not closing. It was back to normal when I left though. She said it was still numb though. The doctor should be there between 9 and 10 in the morning and we will see what the tests show and where they want to go from there. I'm just happy that they are actually looking for a problem this time instead of telling her to just start taking an aspirin everyday.

Happy Rudolph Day!!!!!!

I am going to take Har for her morning walk soon. It's so nice to be able to walk around the two ponds in our neighborhood (especially now that they're thawed out!) and see the ducks swimming around.

Then, I need to do some housework & review 2 more chapters today.

My parents will be in town tomorrow to meet a family friend for lunch. They will drop Jazzie off on the way, and then come back to spend the night with us. It will be nice =]

Adrian has a business trip to Green Bay, so I will have some extra company, which is always welcomed.

It's going to be sunny & 50 degrees this afternoon...it's about time

Have been keeping tin touch with louannes sister and she says

That all furbabies including wish is doing good..all eating

She on the other hand is not.. god love her i think it really hiting her now
She is going to louannes on friday and it will be the 1st time she will be there without loanne not being there.. and she is dreading it so much

So maybe keep her in your thoughts .....

I googled my problem and saw MANY people with the same problem. It must be a Windows 8 problem that has no "cure" that I can find!

sometimes mine does not save info it should, it will be fine for awhile and then suddenly I have to add everything again.

Right now my problem is that coke and a keyboard do not get along well! I am using a keyboard I plug into my laptop so that I can type again.

Good morning! I just ate breakfast at this new place...well it was take out because we are at work...but the buscuits stank..I mean it is very rare that I complain about food,I love everything and eat almost everything. but it was really bad...I had steak egg and cheese biscuit...well I am going to stick to Hardees or burger king or even MC'd's breakfast burrito(all I like from their breakfast menu)Anyways

In other news me and Brandi are watching this trial on Courttv well it's called(trutv now) and we are betting on a verdict...isn't that terrible...we have been dvr'n this stupid trial for 3 or 4 months and it's almost over...the point is we never have been hooked on anything before on tv we have differing opinions on a lot of stuff and how this particular trial should come to an end. If she wins I have to take her to Atlanta for the weekend and stay at the downtown Westin hotel and then go to all the sightseeing places there like the Georgia aquarium and all the other stuff downtown that I have seen a million times since I grew up in Atlanta. If I win we are going to Ft. Lauderdale..that is one place I have not been,I have been all over south Florida but not there and I hear they have a lot of canals all through the town stuff like that is interesting to me...Hey I got to get back to work... Still wearing my winter coat in Ohio for my morning (and afternoon...) walks too! Is it REALLY April 25th??

Made - Keeping you & your Mom in my thoughts/prayers. Strokes are horrible (as you know) so I'm glad they have ruled that out. Now hoping they can find what caused it & praying for a speedy recovery!!
