Christmas Countdown - 2013

Going to be at work at 8am this morning, I wish I could always be in this time, I am a morning person and love this.

Good evening,

Wow, you were all busy today. I am going to be tired tomorrow because I had to catch up here. I had a very long day today, I was basically on my feet from 7am until 815pm tonight. My foot that I ruptured the ligament in last year is swollen and very much in pain tonight, it's the first time I have felt any pain in it since November/December sometime. I get very nervous about that now, since I couldn't do much of anything for 6 weeks last year, I probably just over did it today. My Bruins won, Red Sox won, and I am happy with who the Bengals drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Tomorrow I will be firing up the grill for the first time in 2013, I can already taste the steak.

Good Friday morning Christmas friends! I was up a little thru the night from 1230 to 200 with james he simply refuses and I mean REFUSES to sleep more than 2 hours straight and it was my night to get up.. Well he's sleepy warmly now and I am so glad now that I have to get up and leave!lol Im' really just kidding I know babies are like this sometimes and sooner or later it will get better.Well the weather is cool this morning it feels more like November morning than late Aptil but I certainly will take it! It's suppose to be another really warm one today with high's in the middle to upper 80's! Well I better run I have to still do some last minute things to get ready..Everyone have a safe drive to work and those that are off enjoy sleeping in!! Have a good morning everyone!I'll be back after I get things caught up at work!!

My son was like that, would not sleep more than a couple of hours @ a time. what Star suggested is a great idea, about checking w/ the daycare & making sure he's not sleeping too much there. I was so sleep deprived, I think i walked around in a daze most of the time. I hope it gets better soon for you guys. Keep telling yourself, "This too shall pass"

Gabulldawg, I remember how tough it was when my babies wouldn't sleep at night. But you are right, it will pass. Until they're teenagers! Now I can't go to sleep until they all come home at night and are safe and sound.

In case you're wondering why I'm on at this unusual hour ... Can't sleep. Mr. was finally released from the office and will be home soon. That will help. Been wanting to sleep all day and now I can't. I'm going to be in awful shape in the morning.

Kids & hubby will be home this weekend so I'm looking forward to that.
Will is waiting on call back from police dept. He took a words key test last week. the testing facility told him he scored good so fingers crossed. last step to being hired on.

Seth is headed to work @ the flower shop this morning. I told him every thing is fine & it's just work as usual. Boss loves him to pieces as do the rest of the girls. they love having a handsome young guy around & to deliver. I know any mother would say that about their boy but he does get pretty good tips (&phone #'s lol)

Alli (aka Baby girl) has decided to graduate a semester early next year. we told her the only way she could do that was to go directly into college classes the next semester. No problem w/ that, she said. she found out yesterday that she scored so high on part of her Compass test she will not have to take any English classes. her Math is going to be retaken after she finishes pre-calculas (spelling) & see if that improves also.

Yes, it's wonderful seeing that today is a milestone for us! Yippy! 65 degrees, aww lawd, y'all gonna really enjoy that, huh? I can see Har now on her walks today, she's gonna be so happy, she will be skipping around the neighborhood!

I would ask the day care how much they let him sleep, I know some little ones are just that way, but sometimes if they are allowed to sleep all day they just have night and day mixed up. Just may need to keep him up more during the day.

Thanks guys I will certainly ask them this afternoon because I will be picking them up today after work! And merry thanks if I may ask how long did it take before things got better? James is almost 6 months old now,and the thing is he was not like this until after Christmas break then it seems like it stared in January. Thanks for the advice and empathy!!!:smile:

Okay things have finally slowed down a bit..so today it milestone day!!! Yay! One third of the way down and just about 200 days until we string up the Christmas lights! That gives me the chirstmas spirit and warm feeling just typing it out! we will get there before you know it and will wonder where did the year 2013 go~!

Well I hope everyone has a great and exciting weekend ahead and get a chance todo whatever you want to. I am cutting the grass as soon as I get home because the ppl that are buying our house are coming over in the morning so I want it to lookas good as possible. Now tomorrow me and Brandi have been invited to a buddy of mine's wedding. It's going to be held at a Tallahassee country club. Tal. is about an hour and a half drive from us and it's all back country roads to get there in the fall it would be beautiful and I guess in the spring it will be very pretty too. Then on Sunday I have a Baseball game after Church services we are playing a team that works at roadway it's a freight company and they are suppose to be pretty good..now are they as good as the US Air Force? I don't think so...although I will admit my fallure if we lose! Have a great morning buddies!

Happy Friday everyone!
Just got back from my walk, it is beautiful out already. I stepped outside and had to turn back around to put a lighter coat on today. I am going to work on a menu for next week and a grocery list. I have a few errands to run today including a trip to the butcher. My oldest doesn't have to work today so she is going to tag along with me. We still have to have the glass on her phone fixed so that may be our first stop.
