I went through all my Christmas decorations.....makes me miss it even more?
Yeah, I'll miss ol' Possum. :-(
Good Afternoon!
My mom fell on her porch steps and broke her ankle in two places today. I know she won't let it keep her down and will try to get back to the gym as soon as possible! She was just there yesterday. I really hope she doesn't have to have surgery.
I got a lot to take care of today so I hope you all are doing okay!
I haven't made anything yet, but I sure could go for some burgers on the grill!!

Yes you did have a rough week. so glad you're getting some much needed rest! enjoy it w/ your Mr.!This is one of those rare weekends when neither of us has to work ... a big blessing, considering the kind of workweek we both had this week. Looking forward to some "sofa time." I slept late this morning, but I'm ready for a nap already. I've been busy with household stuff since breakfast. Next up: we figure out what we're going to do for lunch.

I´ve been hilarously tired the last three days...now I know why.....a bronchitis has been lingerin since then...and today it starts to really come out...nevertheless...I will sleep very, very well!!!!

LOL, I am a morning person, love to get most of my work done by noon if I can. This is why I love my new job, all days!!
Hi everyone, I'm back. Sheeesh, It's amazing just how many posts you can get behind on in such a short time. I don't think I can ever get caught up on so if I missed anything, I'm sorry. I have had a whirlwind week myself and am so overwhelmed at the moment.
As you know, I had surgery this past week (Monday) and I am at home recovering; things are going good and I hope to be fully back on my feet within a week or two. On tuesday, My son left for the Air Force (bootcamp); he called yesterday and said everything was fine and gave us his mailing address.
We also got a call from my brother and informing us that my father was missing, the police found him unresponsive, in his car, up in Pennsylvania. They believe now that he had a stroke and got confused and drove to PA???. he is in the hospital, going thru tests and they still don't know the full extent of things.
And in the mix of everything, we are in the beginning stages of moving...
Now, when I read some of the posts here and see sometimes that some of you are having some heck of a time with everything that is happening to you all at once, I think to myself, "wow, that's awlful, and I feel so bad for them..." Now look at me, good Lord, it's almost like what possibly could go wrong is happening all at once, (I sure picked a good time to quit drinking...lol:lol
Well, that's my boo-hoo-hooing for the day, I feel all better now, I surelly hope that your week is alot better than mine has been. Hey, It's the weekend, It's time for some grilling and chilling.....

Update from one of our weathermen on facebook-
cold core low sets up late next week as advertised a few days ago..and YES its possible that wherever this low establishes its self that accumulating snow falls! Not only that but thunderstorms and flooding rains will also become a concern late next week!
I don't think I've ever seen snow in central Indy as late as may before!!!
