Hey gang!
600 million????
Do you know what I would do with 600 Million? I would buy the Inn at Christmas Place....for all of us....that would be our house all year. We would have a go cart track, big screen tv for Christmas in July, and all the coffee we could drink....and that's just in one section of the yard....
Thanks for all the mentions about the wife's grandfather. The last visit was touching...he was all smiles, told her he loved her....and that he was at peace with everything and even ready. He said he wasn't hurting for the first time in a long time and he wanted to go see her grandmother....and that it was what he wanted. He was 85.
Came home this afternoon and was asleep before 5:00 pm. Woke up a couple of hours later to the dogs barking at the wife, who was playing with them. I worry about how the dogs will respond to the new baby...anyone give me some insight on this? Don't ask me....it was ok. I needed to visit. That's what is in store for the rest of teh weekend....rest and family time.
See you guys later!
Okay, okay! Deal! =)I'm going to buy you a million dollar house and you can't even come over and do my dishes 4 days a week???
We already knew you were crazy! :lol:Okay, it's offical, I'm crazy. I bet on goldencents again for the Preakness tomorrow. I'm hoping the fact that there are 11 less horses will help him. I also put a few dollars on mylute. Orb will probably win again but he's 1-1 in the odds. So my track won't even let you put money on him.
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing!I saw this article about "yarn bombing" (covertly covering objects in knitting and/or crochet) and thought: Can you imagine a group that covertly covered objects in public with Christmas lights and decorations? (At any time of year, of course.) "Christmas bombing"! Sounds like something that could happen if we all got together for that convention.
That was always are tradition. We'd shop all day and then come home to watch Home Alone on Fox that evening. That was also when we would open our first box of chocolate covered cherries for the season to snack on during the movie.

I love chocolate covered cherries and Home Alone. Come pick me up!!! :dance:That's a great tradition, friend. Do you still do that? I mean, I know your family isn't all there, but still. I'd love to join in if I was closer. Might have to borrow The Lear!!
Then you could come join us for cut-out cookie day!!

I wish I was there! Sounds like you are having a blast!Got in from Disneyland about an hour ago, and I am exhausted!!! We were there when it opened and left the park right after the fireworks. We stopped at Bubba Gump's since we had not eaten. I had a seafood platter and Hubby had the shrimp platter. I also ordered a mango lemonade in a light-up souvenier glass. We head for SIL's place tomorrow. We will spend the night and then head for home on Sunday. I will sign on as soon as I can. TTYL
Carl is a genius!Carl told me he's going to attend the Preakness today and bet on "Camel's Choice". I told him there was no such horse in the race but he just winked.
Wonder what he's up to?
My daughter sent me an email with this video that gave me a big smile. In the email my daughter said:
"This is to you mom, from the little girl inside meShe says it perfectly".
(My daughter turns 27 years old in June so I thought this was very sweet).

It's going to get up in the 90's today so we might head to the lake early for a bike ride before it gets too warm.
We are going to head out for our bike ride in a few hours, hope the rain holds off!
