Actually things are "sorted out," but they sorted out in a disheartening way. It is what it is. Just a bump in the road. I take the jolt and keep moving forward.

Merry, That sure is a good/ sound approach... Your take on things that is. It sounds like when you received a glass, you looked at it as though it was half full instead of looking at it as a half empty! That's a great way to deal with things with minimal stress, you deal with it and then move on! I like that, it sounds like your an optimist; just like me!!! cheesy

I should have consulted with you, too! Right now, I'm trying to find a small plastic log cabin to put on top. If I can't find one, I'll get Elizabeth to make one out of pretzel logs or something.

you can also make it our of rice crispie material. cover that with royal cing and put the pretzels in that. Less llikely to brake or fall apart

I have some great news: The California-Hawaii Elks raised OVER $3,000,000 (yes, three million dollars) for our "Purple Pig," which is our charity fund for crippled children.

Wow!!! Congratulations and Great Job!!!!!!


I'll try to think of some fund raising ideas for you!!

We are trying to teach them, they have seen weather documentaries about tornadoes, and lightning, and like them. It is just when it happens here they get very scared which I understand.

I know, it takes l long time, keep at it! You are doing the right things.
Some times things are hard for us parents, and one of the hardest things is when you cannot "fix" something like this for your kids. But all the love you show them will help. So will time.

Adrian & I worked on pulling our credit reports. This weekend, we will go over them with a fine tooth comb, and challenge discrepancies. You really have to look out for yourself! I already see someone else's name on mine :/ That can't be good.

This happened right in front of me this morning. We were the first vehicle stopped at the light. The scariest thing I have ever seen in my life - and it seemed to happen in slow motion.

On the bright side, Lucy Fur brought her kittens up to the porch so there are three new kittens hanging around. I will get pictures as soon as I can - they are so cute!

Evening everyone, just stopping by quickly . I am very unsettled tonight after what happened in London today. Not sure if you all seen the news but there was an incident where a soldier was attacked and murdered near his barracks. It is being treated as a major terrorist attack here in the UK. We are all on edge and deeply saddened about what happened to this poor man, details of which are too horrific to go into.

Prayers needed.

I wish I were ... In this case, there's nothing that can be done to change the situation, so the only thing I can do is bear it, and try to grin. To be honest, I'm more cheerful online than in person. Takes me a while to snap out of the blues sometimes. I can usually see the positive side of things, but it doesn't always make me feel better.

This is one of the most sickening things I've ever seen. I'm so sad for that mans family. I can't believe other humans are capable of this kind of act. Sick to the pit of my stomach.

So awful to hear about these things. Prayers are indeed needed. Some days there seems to be evil wherever we look; it's a blessing that there is a pocket of good people here to go to when that happens.
