Christmas Countdown - 2013

Adrian has to work a show in Prior Lake, MN this weekend, so I think I'll continue the Autumn theme & watch some movies that take place during the season, burn some Fall scents, and do some baking!!

And I also want to go back to Schultz Country Barn. They have some really fun seasonal events!! Some cool Halloween things, and Christmas ones too!

Hello, Christmas friends!

I hope you are all doing well along with your families and furkids!

I promised I would pop in from time to time and just wanted you all to know that I didn't forget about you!

Just watched my Penguins win and they are up 3-1 in the series. I hope we can close the series out on Friday!

Very long night at work tonight, even my dinner hour seemed to take forever. Just winding down before falling asleep, listening to some music and perusing MMC. Having some bigwigs stopping in the store tomorrow, that will be fun. I keep checking out magazine sections in stores hoping to see the first sign of Christmas mags, but I know there is still about 2 months to go before we get a sniff of those, it doesn't hurt to keep a keen eye out though.

Does Carl have the hot tub open? I'm sore! Great night in the relief efforts here in Moore. I saw things that broke my heart, but I also saw hope! I saw people whose whole lives have been literally blown away, but they are still thankful, kind, and even generous with what little they have as they help their neighbors. And so many companies, agencies, faith groups, and individuals are out helping. I'm overwhelmed by the kindness right now.

I also gave several interviews...one to a tv station and the other to CBS radio. I'm guessing I will look crazy and made no sense, but oh well! cheesy

I think Carl has some fired twinkies with my name on them and has the hot tub warmed up so I'm off to enjoy!

Still praying for everyone, my heart goes out to you all.

I am picturing Harlowe in my mind, running around like that! It is cold here, too. I wore my sweatshirt jacket all day, and still have it on over my jammies! I am not going to complain, though. I love the cool weather the best!

We had a nice walk in the rain tonight, and Harlowe is still playful from that, running around the house like a mad woman, playing with empty water bottles, toys, whatever she can find!! She'll be a puppy forever, I think!

It feels like Fall right now, with all of the rain for the past four days straight, it has really cooled down. In fact, it's only in the 50's right now.

Thinking of you, Xmas, and your family. It is so scary to live in tornado areas.

I guess there were more tornado warnings all around us today, in Franklin and Worcester counties. We are in Hampden county and not much happened here. I was scared while I was at work because I heard there were tornado warnings and my first thought was to get home to my family. Thank you for your concern.
