Who ever once said pickle juice gets rid of a leg cramp, you are so wrong! All it did for me was make me feel sick, and I still have a crampy leg,,,,, any other suggestions?

When I get a feeling like that in my legs, I sit in a really hot bath for about 30-45 minutes trying to soak it and getting those muscles to relax and stretch out a bit. It really works for me.:-D

Look at this...Carl even had a cold root beer and a frosty mug waiting on me!

And don't forget about the cookies that he made....

I thought they were a fair resemblance of himself, don't you think?

Good evening, friends!!

We had a nice walk in the rain tonight, and Harlowe is still playful from that, running around the house like a mad woman, playing with empty water bottles, toys, whatever she can find!! She'll be a puppy forever, I think!

It feels like Fall right now, with all of the rain for the past four days straight, it has really cooled down. In fact, it's only in the 50's right now.

What are you up to tonight?

:pumpkin:

Ahhhh, I love the fall of the year, no mosquittos, no grass cutting, cooler temps, pumpkins, gourds, fall colors, bon-fires, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc...

Just think, it's only about what, less than 4 months from now; Sept 22nd....

Adrian has to work a show in Prior Lake, MN this weekend, so I think I'll continue the Autumn theme & watch some movies that take place during the season, burn some Fall scents, and do some baking!!

And I also want to go back to Schultz Country Barn. They have some really fun seasonal events!! Some cool Halloween things, and Christmas ones too!

Check it out:

Wow! They did a fantastic job with the make over of the old barn, I wish I could see it for myself, it looks like a really neat place....

Bon Matin, Mes Amis.

Well, pardon my French and get a load of this:
Days to the Season: 174
Days to Christmas Day: 216
And mark it well -- the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone is just 2 weeks from the day after tomorrow.
(Put that in your Christmas pipe and let the smoke encircle your heads!)

More rain fell yesterday but it was light. Did not prevent me from mowing the lawn.
It was a bit more humid, however, and we are no doubt starting to move toward a Summer situation in that regard.
We show just under 70 degrees here in the capital city at this hour.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
(Weekend Eve tomorrow you know!)

I found this cool little picture online, explaing how and where the earth is in conjunction with the changing of the seasons, I thought I would share it with everyone...

Good evening!
Well I didn't think I had much planned for today but it turned out to be a busy afternoon. The girls needed a few things so I ran around with them for a while after school. And we also went to schedule a makeup appointment for prom. My daughter is going for a trial appointment this Friday. I can't believe she will be graduating in one month. And her sister is right behind her. My youngest will be a senior next year. Its crazy.
Anyway, hope I don't have too much running around to do tomorrow. I have some chores to catch up with.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing evening so far!
I find that often the days when I have nothing planned end up the busiest!
Sounds like exciting times at your house, have fun!!!

Hello, Christmas friends!

I hope you are all doing well along with your families and furkids!

I promised I would pop in from time to time and just wanted you all to know that I didn't forget about you!

Just watched my Penguins win and they are up 3-1 in the series. I hope we can close the series out on Friday!

Have a good night! Sleep well and sweet dreams!
Hi!

My Penny is that way, she is 3 years old now and still looks and acts like a kitten, always tearing around the house and pouncing on poor Abby.LOL

Does Carl have the hot tub open? I'm sore! Great night in the relief efforts here in Moore. I saw things that broke my heart, but I also saw hope! I saw people whose whole lives have been literally blown away, but they are still thankful, kind, and even generous with what little they have as they help their neighbors. And so many companies, agencies, faith groups, and individuals are out helping. I'm overwhelmed by the kindness right now.

I also gave several interviews...one to a tv station and the other to CBS radio. I'm guessing I will look crazy and made no sense, but oh well! cheesy

I think Carl has some fired twinkies with my name on them and has the hot tub warmed up so I'm off to enjoy!
I cannot imagine what everyone is going through, it is great to hear of all the help pouring in.
Many ((((HUGS)))) and prayer for you all.

I guess there were more tornado warnings all around us today, in Franklin and Worcester counties. We are in Hampden county and not much happened here. I was scared while I was at work because I heard there were tornado warnings and my first thought was to get home to my family. Thank you for your concern.
so glad to hear you are all safe. (((HUGS)))
