Hello :-D
The graduation party was very nice. I can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. It's amazing. I just finished cleaning up the kitchen from dinner and I really need to catch up with some chores now. I didn't do any laundry today, I have to get a couple of loads done or I will be sorry tomorrow. Other than that, I am staying in and taking it easy for the rest of the night.
Hope everyone is having a great day so far!!!
hmmm, could be a growth spurt, whenever my boys head into a growth spurt they turn into snack monsters. I suppose that is why my 8 year old is nearly 5 feet tall and wears a size 7.5 mens shoe. Cheesy
Does anyone have cicadas?
I was watching the Nascar race and all of a sudden a familiar face popped on the screen. Yes, Carl has gone hollywood on us.

Same here---I've only been to concerts of local groups (barbershop choruses, etc.)---I've never been to a rock concert. We saw Straight No Chaser twice, and I saw Woody Herman and his band at a concert at my high school when I was a student back in the 1970s. Otherwise, just recorded music (and lots of it).
I would love to see Straight No Chaser and have always wanted to see Transiberian Orchestra.
I have seen a lot of rock concerts in my teens and early 20's then did not start going to them again until about 7 years ago. I have seen Journey, Ozzy (3 times), Guns n Roses, Alice Cooper (twice), Styx, Foreigner, Ted Nugent (twice) Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, Rush (twice), Loverboy (3 times), Triumph, Kiss, Judas Priest, 38 Special, Motley Crue, Dire Straights, Bryan Adams and there are some more that I cannot think of right now. The funny thing is, I am not that big of a fan of some of these groups I mentioned. It was one of those things where someone had tickets and invited me to go. Something to do I guess. Out of all of them, just not much into Ozzy, Judas Priest, Motley Crue or Alice Cooper but they put on a good show at the time. I still love Journey and Rush!!! The rest are okay.
I have seen Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians many times but she was from here where I live. We saw her locally quite a bit then on tour she they got a record deal. Not sure if you heard of her but she was big in the late 80's and is now married to Paul Simon. I still love their music and listen to it often.
Wayne and I seen Rain 4 times. A Beatles tribute band that was on Broadway for awhile. They toured here in town a couple of times. We plan to see them again when they return.
Of course the best concert ever and plan to see him again and again will be Sir Paul McCartney!!! Seen him 3 times so far and ready to go again! We have traveled to other towns to see him twice, stayed the night and came back the next day. Just like we did several days ago.
Now we need to go see Straight No Chaser and Transiberian Orchestra!
WOW! That is a lot of concerts!
That's right, I did see a Beatles tribute band last year. I forgot all about that. The biggest problem for myself is that all my favorite groups and artists are either broken up, or passed on.
My favorite, Roy Wood, is in Great Britain and rarely tours the US.
That would explain the stain on the inside of my screen. cheesy

I know what you mean! It would be really nice to see The Beatles!!!!! Then to the other extreme on the music genre, I would love to see Patsy Cline! She has an amazing voice. I love her music!
I forgot to mention that we saw a Blues Brothers Tribute band and few other Beatles tribute bands but Rain was the best!
Check your computer screen again, Xmas! I just spewed!
I love the Blues Brothers, I have a couple of their CD's. I have always loved the original movie, ever since my parents took me to see it at a drive in when I was 5 years old, not really appropriate for that age but I have loved it since then.
I didn't watch the show. What is the significance of the choice? I like to learn how people and animals get their names; it is really interesting to me.
