Good afternoon, MMC!

It is getting cloudy outside so I had best get going if I want to look at the gardens. This morning there were new kittens on the porch. I didn't have time to move them before I had to leave - they were gone when I got home a little while ago. I think I might take a nap when I get in - so tired!

I will not complain about the ducks anymore.
I hope the bear goes away peacefully mgramsey.

Now he is accusing me of being behind on my rent while at the same time saying he will not know until the 15th when the bank statement comes back.
I sent him a note to come and see me then and I will at that time go to the bank and have them do a check on what happened to it.
I am so glad I am going on vacation!

That is SO unfair ... I certainly hope there's proof that you paid. You certainly don't need the additional aggravation. Don't let it spoil your vacation. You need some enjoyment.

I assume black bear? Do y'all have quite a few in the area? We have a growing population around here. We've also had issues with mountain lions in recent years getting very close to populated areas.

Hope y'all are safe and don't have to be eating bear! cheesy I have a friend who's a big hunter...he says it's very fatty and greasy meat, by the way.

If you gave it to him and have the receipt, it's his problem after that...he's responsible! Hope it works out for you. And hope you have a very fun time on vacation!

I know it is not my fault, his, it just bugs me that he would blame me for it.
Found out I am not the first to go through problems with him, I think maybe it is time we got together and went to the board about getting someone else to manage the place properly.

The ducks have still been stopping by every day. My husband isn't too happy about it. I picked up a couple of tubes to throw in the pool, I still need to blow them up. I read that the ducks may not land in the pool if they see the tubes floating around. We'll see what happens.

If I had the receipt and he tried to say it was my fault, well I probably would have got kicked out.
 
Please take care. Bears used to come up on my son's back porch, but they did have animal control where he lived. I would be afraid the bear would smell aromas in the house and try to break in.

We have a lot bears in this area. 75% on our county is federally owned (85% of our neighboring county) and we live about a mile off the Appalachian Trail. We invaded their territory when we built here.

Yes it is black bear. I've eaten it before but am not a fan.
 
Good evening!
I am going to put dinner on the table in a few minutes. I'm just waiting for my oldest to get home from work.
I really want to walk the dogs after dinner, but it is still so darn hot out. I'll see if it cools off at all.
I have been in the house all afternoon with my youngest who has not stopped moaning and groaning about being punished since the minute she got home from school. I actually feel a headache coming on. Sometimes I wonder who suffers more when she is punished, her or me!
I hope everyone is having a great day so far!
